This is hard to believe...Sen. Rounds is up for re-election & he wants the monument at Mt. Rushmore removed>????? I should imagine he has just kissed that re-election goodbye. Maybe his hope is that he will get the Democrat vote.

Just for the sake of debate, the erasure, or at least the start of erasure of American history has happened on President Trump's watch. While we applaud Trump's valley of monuments idea, has the cultural revolution sponsored by Global Corporations become unstoppable?

I think they were talking about Mike Rounds (senator from South Dakota) not Mike Lee (senator from Utah). Rounds is a Catholic, Lee is a Mormon.

There are many nations around the world that would love to salvage their culture from the influence of global corporations. Their corroding influence can easily be culled if national leaders work together to hit them where it hurts most....profits. Through tariffs, anti-trust suits, financial audits, and targeting corporate executives with legal action of various kinds, you can easily bring them back to heel. Always remember...government has guns corporations don’t. One obviously want’s to avoid being anti-capitalist, but no nation...not even the smallest nation...has to sit by and allow big business to become a government unto itself.
