U.S. officials believe as many as 20 million Americans have contracted the coronavirus, suggesting millions had the virus and never knew it.
Thats nearly 10 times as many infections as the 2.3 million cases that have been confirmed and comes as the Trump administration works to tamp down nationwide concern about the COVID-19 pandemic as about a dozen states are seeing worrisome increases in cases.

I predict by the time this is over the final number will be close 100 million....
Is some areas where random antibody tests have been done, some of the estimates are as his a 50 times the reported number of cases have been infected....
Cases are being inflated by lab errors(intentional or otherwise in Texas) and due to CDC’s suggestion to mix antibody tests with ACTUAL YOU HAVE COVID-19 tests.
From a left-leaner:
The agency confirmed to The Atlantic on Wednesday that it is mixing the results of viral and antibody tests, even though the two tests reveal different information and are used for different reasons.
This is not merely a technical error. States have set quantitative guidelines for reopening their economies based on these flawed data points.

Its about the true death rate, not how many get it, which is only the denominator and by increasing, keeps reducing the death rate. But that doesnt fit the narrative or get ratings.
So far Johns Hopkins reports 127,930 deaths. So, if true, less than 1% of those who get it actually die from it.
We’re ALL infected...
It's estimated that only about 1/3 of those deaths were directly from the Chicom Cooties. The others were deaths caused by something else and they happened to have COVID-19, so it got counted as a "COVID-related death"...kinda like this
Lol! It’s funny b/c it’s true!
Democrats want to shut the nation down over the measles...
I believe I was the first person in the U.S. to have it. Started the Monday after Thanksgiving.
That’s what I’m thinking
I had SOMETHING in Feb. Explosive, ropy shit, cough, aches, feeling lousy.
My favorite scientific word, “believe”.

“When someone donates blood to the Red Cross, they consent to allow their blood samples to be used in research studies. Thousands of people all over the country donate blood each month, which gives the organization a huge pool of blood samples to analyze. By testing all of those samples for novel coronavirus antibodies, the organization will also be able to get a sense of how widespread the virus is.
We collect 40% of the nations blood supply, so we have an easy picture to answer questions around how many people are antibody positive, Stramer says. So far, with two weeks of data, around 1.2 percent of blood donors have novel coronavirus antibodies.”
In Michigan if a person takes the antibody test and it comes up positive (they have been exposed and beat the virus) that counts as a new case.
Almost everything about this has been a lie from the start. NO! I won't be taking any immunization until they force it down my throat, and I don't give a dam about any prior Supreme Court ruling.
Those 20 million are disproportionately the most vulnerable in our population, either weak immune systems or high social interaction. Either way, the next round of COVID will strike a somewhat less vulnerable population. If it doesn’t hit until after the election, so that even democrats don’t need to help it destroy America, then Round Two should be a non-event.
In Florida a lot more people are getting antibody tested, but percent positive only about 2-3 or 4 percent. I would think % positive would be much higher if more people have been infected
TMI!
I had “that” a couple of times in March.
Had the nastiest sudden onset flu of my life starting January 12...dry cough that persisted for three weeks and definitely decreased lung capacity all that time. Two days of constant chills.
Nasty stuff, no doubt, but not worth wrecking the economy and restricting First Amendment freedoms!
