St Louis prosecutor says she might overrule police and CHARGE lawyer couple who brandished firearms at protesters outside their mansion after they said they 'feared for their lives'

The leading St. Louis city prosecutor is considering pressing charges against a Missouri lawyer couple after they were seen brandishing guns at protesters outside their $1.15million mansion. Mark McCloskey, 63, and his wife Patricia McCloskey, 61, were seen in multiple videos and photos on Sunday evening touting an AR-15 rifle and a handgun as protesters marched. The couple claimed they 'feared for our lives' after the protesters allegedly broke down the gate into their private community and threatened them.

From what I understand this prosecutor is a Soros acolyte. If she presses charges, does the couple have any recourse to sue for misconduct? When the mob broke through the gate is it correct to assume they entered the McCloskey property?

the mob entered private property, whether it belonged to the armed couple or not i do not know.

this prosecutor is going to get an awakening if she thinks that just holding a weapon is a crime...

if i were her constituents, i would sue her for the cost of this illegal prosecution.

What about the vandals and trespassers? What are they being charged with?

Her constituents will send these two whites to prison for a long time if they could.

Fighting back, what racists!

Missouri has a strong castle doctrine law. The home owner is within his or her rights to defend their property.

The people who broke into private property are the ones that should be charged. Any prosecutor who brings charges should be removed from office for political bias and the flaunting of black letter law.

The couple said that they support BLM. They didn’t actually shoot anybody. Why not charge the rioters with infecting other people with COVID-19.

These D.A’s and BLM had to have coordinated with Soros years ago. They need to be charged with conspiracy and an intl warrant for Soros’s and his sons!

So let’s see...

Rioting, looting, burning, assaulting: Praised by politicians

Peacefully protesting unconstitutional lockdowns: Reckless, dangerous, and criticized by politicians

Breaking down gates, disturbing and threatening people on their private property: Praised and defended by politicians

Defending your private property by simply showing your firearms: Punishable criminal act, according to politicians

This is the same prosecutor who let the rioters out and wouldn’t charge them. She sides with criminals constantly

I’m guessing that DA is getting hundreds of death threats, and she can’t find a private security firm willing to protect her. Until that big problem is solved, there will be no charges.

Isn’t this the same way Democrats lynched blacks legally in the past? Reminds me of To Kill a Mockingbird.

I still had a glimmer of hope for the future of the country until I read this.

One was always secure in one’s home, and able to defend oneself from unjust aggressors. Law enforcement in all jurisdictions recognized this fundamental right.

We now see prosecutions controlled by politicians. The murderer of Justine Damond was treated gently by prosecution. jussie smollet was set free after very obviously being guilty. The Atlanta cop who defended himself was virtually declared guilty.

Hopefully this incident will change the thinking of the McCloskeys after facing a BLM mob. America must wake up and take a good look at Democrat run cities and states and their permissive attitude towards self destruction. The next election is about having a structured civilization or a “Mad Max” civilization run by scavengers. I pray we choose wisely for it appears the fate of the world is in our hands.

The couple owns the property plus these punks invaded. Now, I’d have been shooting 45’s with liquid mercury in the tips of all projectiles.

The prosecutor was on TV. She is a blind running idiot who makes up laws.
