Let me offer two videos that address oxygen levels of folks wearing masks:

For folks with breathing problems, masks just make the problem worse.

No. There are multiple reasons to wear a mask, or not.

No one knows the reasons why a person is wearing, or not wearing one.

Would you care to explain what you are "protecting yourself" from, wearing a mask, alone in your car?

Personally, surprised your car can move with that much Smug on board. Air shocks?

I only wore a mask twice at visits to our local VA clinic here in sunny SW Florida. I was in and out in just a few minutes — which was fine with me, because I found the mask restricted my breathing.

For all the rumblings about mandatory masks, I noticed that relatively few people wore them this week at church. I hope that’s a good sign.

30% of high school graduates, 41% of college graduates and 46% of postgraduates always wear masks.

Wearing a mask for the social sake of wearing a mask is status seeking. The left are traditionally snobs allowing themselves a sense of superiority because they have a post graduate degree in arcane languages or bronze age art history or something equally marketable.

Wearing a mask because you are a risk to others is imperative.

Wearing a mask because you feel you will be exposed to a risk is survival.

These two factors are deeply rooted in common sense independent of formal educational level.

Interestingly, even before Herr Hogan “allowed” it, the gun shops were already Free Zones.

When we went to get another, there were so many people in there I felt like I was inside a pinball machine and all of the people were maskless.

Wearing a mask is pure virtue signaling. It also means you are a far left liberal and probably stupid to boot.
Plus you are liable to pass out from lack of oxygen if you put it on and go jogging.

Just as good as a mask.

I still believe covid-19 spreads by touch 95%, airborne 5% in public places.

How many people cough or sneeze near you in grocery stores? It is rare. But an infected person touches so many items in a store, like picking several avocado’s checking them and finally placing one in their cart. And the cart handle, and boxes on shelves, and rest room door, flush handle...etc etc. Virus cells are shed through their sweaty hand and then you pick them up on your hand. But you are pretty safe until you scratch your eyes or nose or touch your mouth.

One reason 4 times bigger population of India crammed into a landmass 1/3 size of USA has fewer infections/million people than USA is the Indian greeting is not hand shake. It is Namaste. Indians are touch averse.

I think the idea is stops droplets spreading so far (think trying to blow away some dust with a mask versus without).

The down side is you may end up breathing back some of virus you just exhaled (assuming you have the virus).

I think for crowded situations (such as packed subway cars) they may be of some value in slowing transmission.

“I feel like I’m awake in some madman’s fever dream.”

That’s why I avoid any place where people wear them. It’s like walking around with zombies, and I can’t understand what anyone says.
