Interesting event. The lawyers should be trained to point their weapons toward the ground unless needed. It would have been better. Also, better to be behind cover somewhere around the house instead of standing in the open. The protesters will come back later and burn that house to the ground. Their upset is understood, they just didn't handle it quite right.

That having been said, I am wondering why so many liberals are ruining their own businesses to support this movement. It doesn't make sense. Why does CNN advocate for anarchy when their own building and news crews are attacked? Other businesses are losing so much money they will go out of business, but they don't seem to care? Who is inciting all of this when the outcome is going to be their own ruin? I wish someone would explain that to me.

Again, chainsaws wielded by the pair would have been a far greater deterrent. None of the bums in the street would have come near them. Thought of a couple of good ideas for rioters/looters last night. First, starve some lions, giving just enough food to keep them crazy. Cage them. Then, bring the cages to the rioting/looting site and set some down on one side. Go around to the other side and set down cages with starving lions. Give the rioters/looters five minutes to clear the scene. If they don't, cut the lions loose. Portable fencing could be employed to keep the lions in the kill zone until finished.

Another idea: Develop spiked strips with razor sharp 3" nails pointing up that can be deployed rapidly. Throw them down on both sides of the rioters/looters in the street and then open a gap and send in a group of LEOs to arrest people. No one is running anywhere. I have many more ideas.

How about just holding a handgun and an AR-15?

Because their TDS is terminal. They’re willing to burn everything to the ground including their own homes and businesses in their attempt to destroy Pres. Trump.

We still have freedom of religion in this country. That's their religion.

My lawyer told me that,in Massachusetts at least, one must be *very* careful where you point a firearm. He said that you’re subject to being charged with “brandishing” which, here at least,is taken very seriously.Unless,of course, you’re an Rat Party donor.

The married couple came out of their house armed on Sunday to prevent protesters from walking onto their property after they broke their way into a gated community (Reuters)

The title of the video proclaims “white couple point guns at peaceful black lives matters protesters”

Yeah...they’re peacul all right...’till they’re not.

Maybe the show of force convinced them to be peaceful. What a concept...right.

They didn’t look very intimidating. But it worked.

Happy they’re standing up for themselves, but it looks to me like they both could use some firearm training...

I’m very surprised the people defending their property weren’t shot dead by those thug “protestors.”

Alligators..... definitely alligators......

However my more traditional approach of shotguns, sidearms and two protection GSDs would also work... ;^)

It’s a couple of frightened civilians defending their home from an angry mob. They deserve a little leeway.

Houston Police did a great job defusing, corralling, and arresting rioters a couple weeks ago, and as a result we are the largest city in the country without significant damage. I’m not a big fan of our police chief, but I have to admit he did a good job here.

I saw a picture of inside that house. It is stunning. This couple need to invite some well armed militia over to spend a few nights in the back yard. The vandals will be back.

Domestic Terrorism – Missouri Couple Defends Their Home From Rampaging Mob Who Broke Through Perimeter Gate on Private Property…
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/06/29/domestic-terrorism-missouri-couple-defends-their-home-from-rampaging-mob-who-broke-through-perimeter-gate-on-private-property/

Excerpt:
The important aspect is here the mob was not on a public street; the mob represented a clear threat; and Missouri has strong Castle Doctrine laws that do not require a duty of the homeowner to retreat from the threat. This mob was very fortunate the couple were well disciplined in their use of firearms.

Once the mob broke through the gate, they were effectively in the justifiable kill zone.

Missouri’s law is more extensive than those of other states because it allows you to use deadly force to attack an intruder to protect any private property that you own, in addition to yourself or another individual. This means that if someone illegally enters your front porch or backyard, you can use deadly force against them without retreating first. (link)

NOTE: link found in comments to pictures of house, etc. It is one gorgeous place.

Also, someone else commented that “The St. Louis couple’s place is on the National Historic Register. It’s protected by the President’s executive order against the defilement of historical sites and statues.” There are documents to back up the Historic Register designation.

A flamethrower would be very effective at dispersing a crowd of trespassers.
