A Columbus, Miss., pastor, who is white, was allegedly given the boot by his former church for supporting protests and the idea that "black lives matter" after George Floyd's police-related death, The Christian Post reports.
After three and a half years leading The Heights Church, Bishop Scott Volland and his wife, Debra, were voted out by the church's board on June 18 because of differing views on addressing racial issues.
"Whether it is saying that 'black lives matter' (as a human fact), or in speaking out to remove racially offensive/insensitive monuments or politicians, I have been informed that my 'agenda will not work at this church,' and that I 'dont speak for the church,'" Volland shared on Facebook the next day.

This person seems dishonest to me.
Good!
That is racial talk.
Start talking about people.
Stop talking about color.
Good, if true. More churches should do the same. Leftist pastors are a cancer.
The False Social Gospel of BLM must be removed from all churches.
This guy is now crying to the press over a Church that will stand firm on true Biblical Principles.
Get Ready Christians! We have targets on our backs now.
Good
Preach Christ, and Him crucified.
“A few days after announcing his exit from The Heights Church, Volland started a new “church for all people” called The Bridge. He said he holds “no hard feeling and wish no ill will” on his former church.
“I’m encouraged about what God is doing,” Volland shared in a Facebook Live video Tuesday.”
What God is doing is separating the sheep from the goats and spewing out publicly those who denigrate His True Church. This guy like the broad road that is socially acceptable. He’s made his decision.
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Broad is

Oh I’m SURE that was the reason. I’ll bet it was more of having to constantly listen to him bloviate from the pulpit about how racist white people are today.
Heck, three and a half years leading the same church would be some type of record in my old Snatchez (my part of Mississippi).
One little church south of town had a little cottage on the property, for reverend and his family. I asked a friend why it seemed like they were always re-painting the house (it could have been a DURON paint demonstration project, seriously).
You know his answer of course. New coat for every time they hire a new pastor — and drive out the old one.
Sounds like the church is separating the wheat from the chaff! Dont let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya, fella! Take your SJW somewhere else.
Cheap virtue signalling that didn’t turn out so cheap.
Black lives matter?
Since the rioting, looting and pillaging, not so much
Some black lives remain in the “don’t matter” category.
Now we got to get the schools on board.
I think the first rule should be if you don’t have a kid in school, you don’t serve on the school board.
If you had nothing but parents on the boards a lot of this cross dress, gender ‘confusion’, would never get to the board because I don’t think the ‘average’ parent wants to have horny boys showering with and sharing rest rooms with their daughters.
Biggest problem with my proposal is both parents likely work and school board etc becomes another ‘job’.
I know I was ‘guilty’ of that as we both worked and mine was NOT a 9-5 job.
In essence not having kids in the school district is like having someone from CA sit on your town council in NY state.
Even ‘social’ clubs require membership before one can sit on the ‘board’ or ‘ruling committee’.
They metastasize, infecting the entire body. Luckily, I do not have a wimp as a pastor.
What he really means is ‘Only Marxist Black Lives Matter’.
Tolerance is NOT a Christian virtue. Charity, justice, mercy, prudence, honesty; these are Christian virtues. Archbishop Charles Caput
