Tucker Carlson warned viewers Thursday that President Trump is facing an uphill battle for reelection and a victory for former Vice President Joe Biden would enable the "radicals who control" him to "remake the country."
Before laying out what Trump should do to boost his chances of winning a second term, Carlson recalled why millions voted for him in 2016.
"Alone among national leaders, Donald Trump warned Americans for decades about China and the perils of globalization. Everything about the war on coronavirus proved Donald Trump right," Carlson said. "China really is our main global adversary. The Chinese government really does want to take over the world. Meanwhile, the fact that we sent our manufacturing base abroad really has weakened us badly. The most powerful nation on earth no longer makes antibiotics. [We are] not as powerful as we think. All of that is very obvious now, after the pandemic, but Donald Trump called it.
"The core appeal of Trump," Carlson went on, "was if things ever started to fall apart, he would defend you. Yes, he was loud and crude. Most bodyguards are. Only a man like Donald Trump was tough enough to fight the creeping authoritarianism of the education cartel and corporate America.

Trumps not talking with any consistency. When his staff clarifies a statement quit contradicting them. Let it lay So irritating
Thank you for clarity
Whose idea is this and is it a good one?
White House coronavirus task force to hold first briefing in nearly two months
Agreed. He usually nails the target--more accurately than anyone else on FOX. But sometimes he misses it completely.
Back in February/March, he believed the Coronavirus was even WORSE than what was being reported. The opposite was true.
Yes, we're frustrated and impatient. But we don't know what he does. We have faith in him. And we'll crawl over broken glass to vote for him in November.
I heard Tucker’s disgusting rant last night. And then he brings on Jasper’s Mom to prove his point. Really? AOC would have added more to the conversation than Perino.
Bump!....Thanks for the link!
Whats with people always warning Trump about this and that. Geez.
Theres a hymn that is very precious .....especially now
Lord have mercy on us
Come and heal our land
Cleanse with your fire
Heal with your touch
Humbly we bow, and call upon you now
Oh Lord have mercy on us
Oh Lord have mercy on us
Are there debates scheduled? I could imagine Biden wanting to avoid them like the plague or like the corona virus.
My money is on there not being a single debate. The virus, security, yadda yadda. They aren’t going to let that fool be ripped apart in front of the country.
I watched his Hannity interview and the Town Hall. I read it completely different. Trump behaved in a calm almost kindly manner. He never said Biden will be President. He is learning to temper his bombastic approach he does not need to be over the top on every interview and a town hall was not the place for a fiery rally type speech.
That was a very sobering moment as it signaled that Trump may not even have control over the military any longer. When Milley apologized it sent a shiver through me.
Everyone knows that Biden will not be president . That whoever they pick as his vp will be
I do believe Trump’s message has to be honed and crafted better. Right now, he’s struggling a bit to get it out there. He needs to use a lot more ads attacking Dem leadership all over America - “Who do you trust with the economy”. Who do you trust for providing safety and to restore order in our land?” - that kind of thing. Just hammer this point over and over with a picture of Sleepy Joe with his “speak no evil” mask on.
But the biggest thing for me is this: absolutely no Trump supporter from last election is going to switch horses now AND many Dem voters from last year have likely been shaken to their core by what they’ve seen going on in America. How many of them will come out and say they are going for Trump this time around, given the chilling of free speech that’s going on? No. They will quietly go into the voting booth and pull the lever for Trump. Hopefully, they will be fully “woke” and pull the lever for the entire Pubbie ticket so we can get rid of the Nancy-Chuckie show, as well.
No, he didn’t look discouraged at the rally. Can’t believe the growing number of trolls on Free Republic.....
What matters is how many vote in November, not the polls.
We are in full election campaign period. The attacks on Trump are going to be much worse than anything we have ever seen. The media is going to deify biden and demonize Trump. There will be another round of rioting in the streets, and any resurgence of the virus will be blamed on Trump.
democrats fight dirty. This year they will be redefining the word dirty.
They tried cv19, rioting, burning, killing, the bolton book. They have a lot more tricks up their sleeve, and it will get real bad real soon.
If you believe Biden will be allowed to debate Trump, with the two of them together in the same room and without Biden’s handlers/coaches present but off camera, you are out of your mind.
This will be a “virtual” debate, or it won’t happen at all.
Constantine the Great, maybe?
I think this is a brilliant idea. It would hold both candidates feet to the fire.
Trump’s biggest problem right now IMO is that he’s not letting his actions match his rhetoric.
“LAW AND ORDER! If Democrat Mayors won’t act against violence in the streets, I will.”
Only he didn’t.
“We will reopen America and come back even stronger!”
Except he’s letting Democrat governors and Tony Fauci hamstring him at every turn.
Just last night an audience member at his Green Bay town hall asked him what he was going to do to stop the Democrats from stealing the election with mail-in ballots.
Trump repeated his typical rant on that subject, but did not actually answer the question.
People are starting to lose faith that he can do anything but bluster and tweet.
