NASCAR employees will receive sensitivity training in the coming weeks after the discovery of a garage door pull tied into a noose was found in driver Bubba Wallace’s garage and triggered a national controversy, president Steve Phelps said on Thursday.

“We'll make any changes necessary to our sanctions and our code of conduct and we will mandate that all members of our industry complete sensitivity and unconscious bias training,” Phelps said during a press conference.

So the FBI says that was there BEFORE he used that garage.

“...Keep digging NASCAR, you will eventually reach the bottom....”

They’re definitely looking for the bottom and just may have found it. NASCAR is dead...they just don’t know it yet. They think they’re too big to go down after seeing what the NFL went thru.
The new sanctioning body is:....NOOSECAR with the star driver being the champion.... the great...the one and only...race-huster Bubba Smollett!!!!! And all you good, ole southern boys need to man up and enjoy the new show! Oh...and don’t forget to bring money...lots of money for the food, drinks, and especially the new memorabilia and stuff. The #43 car is gonna be the hot seller!! /s

There was no noose incident.

A minor detail. What matters is that NASCAR knows its racing teams are clearly racists even if those teams don't know it. [/sarc]

Let’s look at some NASCAR history, shall we?
This is about Wendell Scott, black driver in NASCAR.
In 1961, he moved up to the Grand National Series. In the 1963 season, he finished 15th in points, and on December 1 of that year, driving a Chevrolet Bel Air that he purchased from Ned Jarrett, he won a race on the half-mile dirt track at Speedway Park in Jacksonville, Florida—the first (and, to date, only) Grand National event won by an African-American (Darrell Wallace Jr. recently became the second African-American driver in NASCAR’s top 3 series to win with his 2013 Kroger 200 win at Martinsville). Scott passed Richard Petty, who was driving an ailing car, with 25 laps remaining for the win. Scott was not announced as the winner of the race at the time, presumably due to the racist culture of the time. Buck Baker, the second-place driver, was initially declared the winner, but race officials discovered two hours later that Scott had not only won, but was two laps in front of the rest of the field.[9] NASCAR awarded Scott the win two years later, but his family never actually received the trophy he had earned until 2010–47 years after the race, and 20 years after Scott had died.[3][10]

As long as they are fools, there will always be NASCAR and the NFL. I say that because at one time I followed both. Then I wised up.

I remember one time I was cleaning out my garage. I found a length of rope, and I tied one end into a noose. Why? Because I was bored and wanted to kill 5 minutes. Probably this was nothing more than that.

In deference to BLM and the possible V.P. pick of Joementia Biden, NASCAR has decided to get rid of the term "Pole Position", renaming it the Willie Brown Heels up Harris Position.

Relevant to today and this driver’s accusations how? I believe it has been proven that the particular non slip knot not noose was in use for months on a number of garages doors not just his.

The FBI, NASCAR, BLM and the CIA all searched Bubba’s lockers, apartments and storage lockers. They couldn’t find a single trophy.

"NASCAR mandates sensitivity, unconscious bias training after noose incident"

Seems to me that if they were to be mandating anything it would be participation in a course on knot tying.

History Channel did a TV series (Madhouse) at a local track and we would go when we could for things like this:

Not for some PC sensitive drivers.
