They can’t write a decent article because they can’t tell the truth.
Barr “tried” to fire Berman.
Berman says “I’m not stepping down”.
But Berman is out of a job today, yes?
The Justice/s Department used to investigate crimes. I wonder when that changed.
Berman’s been fishing, and ain’t caught anything. What a dingbat.
As Obama did, Trump should fire ALL the attorneys general.
The NYT lack of any attempt to contain its bias is hysterical. Tried to fire, abruptly (though hes leaving July 3rd), investigated Trump associates....
Read last night he was removed, end of story. He can not just refuse to leave a position that he serves in at the will and pleasure of the AG. He has been temporarily replaced by his deputy and a replacement has already been nominated.
He does not really have a choice as far as I can see. Maybe he can refuse to resign from the DOJ, I do not know? Maybe he can stay at the DOJ in some other capacity, like hall monitor for the unisex toilets? Either way, he is no longer the Attorney in charge of the Southern District of NY.
Strongy suspect Berman is trying to compromise something Durham is about to do.
I was told Berman was never confirmed by the senate as is required for that job.
True or not?
Trump should fire them all then renominate the ones he likes. They serve at the pleasure of the president
Six.. Six writers! I’m not reading the article because I know the NYT needs this many writers to concoct the lies written.
Seems to me they were just a little slow catching on to this legal creep. Should he not get removed, this will be a (very bad) watershed moment for the DOJ and Trump.
Liars. Barr did not try to fire him. He gave the jerk a chance to resign with dignity. Now he can put "Fired" on his Resumé.
Berman was supposed to be the Democrat’s October Surprise.
At first, I wondered why berman was being fired; on reading the headline, I realized it was long overdue, and a very, very good thing. Of course, berman can always self-identify as a black man and get some riots going...
What part of the US Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States, or at the pleasure of the Attorney General of the United States. If they are not pleased, they can be fired at any time. What part of that does Bergman not grasp?
