What the DA said was unbelievable.
I am LE in GA. Word is that they are making the Fulton Co jail staff get in cars and patrol. Mayor asked for area sheriff and GBI and DCS help and they all told her that Atlanta’s DA is too reckless for their officers. No one is coming to help.
Wow. This is new.
I heard that some of it was almost unintelligible.

Jail staff are not police officers. The training is nowhere near the same. I would refuse.

Zone 5 is the downtown business zone (also includes Georgia Tech campus). Zone 2 (Northside) is the upper class area—it’s where all the money resides.
If those two zones go, politicians will start to sweat.
The rest of the zones are primarily black & poor.
