An auto-shop owner on the edge of Seattle’s cop-free CHAZ says police refused to help as an angry mob stormed his property — forcing his son to pull a gun to protect them, according to video and reports.
John McDermott told KIRO 7 News that he initially tried to detain a protester Sunday night who stole cash and set a fire in his Car Tender business on the edge of the so-called “Capital Hill Autonomous Zone.”
His son, Mason McDermott, helped tackle the suspect who “tried to cut me with a box cutter,” he told the station, showing large slits in his jeans close to his crotch.
Other protesters soon arrived — and video on social media shows the mob eventually knocking over a section of fencing, running in to confront the owners and angrily demand the return of the original suspect.

You’re judging a whole lot of people, by identifying all individuals within entire state or city borders as ‘blue’.
I live in a ‘blue’ state. I know that there are many people here who don’t go along with the dominating politics of the urban areas of the state.
Do you think we should all just give up the ghost and MOVE? Sometimes ‘unwinnable territory’ is taken back by pragmatic people who also have courage and good reasons to stay and fight.

It’s a shame more people don’t know that the Supreme Court has ruled clearly that law enforcement has no constitutional duty to protect anyone. That said I wonder why do we even have the police? To read the news in many areas, one could logically come to the conclusion that the police are here to protect criminals from ordinary citizens who have to defend themselves

Lethality is the point. Communist traitors/insurrectionists deserve nothing less. Everyone in that zone is an enemy of the United States. Crush them brutally and spare none of them.

Rest assured that they are still out there issuing parking tickets and traffic fines and doing the job of revenue generation. Liberal courts and jail-emptying executives have obviate the need for criminal investigation and law enforcement.
Under the new regimes revenue generation/code enforcement equals profit center equals good. While criminal justice law enforcement equals cost centre equals bad. It’s all part of the new short-term/quick gain election year planning strategy for progressive government.

Yup. I wonder if people will ever wake up to the fact that the police are only there to protect the State, and to raise revenue from taxpayers.
The US supreme court has ruled that the police does Not need to respond to a crime even if it happens in front of them, they are only required to police the area in general.
That was a result of a case were two women were beaten and raped. One of them managed to scream out of the window of her apartment to police officers below at the local Dunkin donuts, but the police did not attempt to save them.
Sad, sad.
