Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams pushed back Sunday on calls to defund police departments across the country – calling it “a false choice idea” and arguing that reforming police departments is the best path forward.
Abrams, whose name is frequently mentioned as being on the shortlist to be presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, said that what the United States needs is a “reformation of how police officers do their jobs” and “transformation in how we view the role of law enforcement.”
“We are being drawn into a false choice idea,” she said on ABC’s “This Week” when asked about the “Defund The Police” movement.

In other words nothing we say makes sense and nothing we say means what it means. Its meaning can vary depending on what suits our need and we can use this to identify our enemies in those who don’t feign understanding if everything we say.

She ran for office and lost what else has she ever done? All I hear from her is racist comments and left wing radical talking points.
I think in non-urbanized regions of the US...lot of blacks see the police/LE as a genuine necessity. They may agree on some bad cops existing, but a society without any police...will be full of civil disturbances, petty criminals at your backdoor, and massive drug problems.

Stacy makes her move. She panders, however briefly, to the Law and Order wing of the Democratic Party. Good luck with that approach!

No need to defund the police...just remove them from the “communities” that don’t want them there or feel the police are hostile towards them. No problem, yup, that’ll work.
She’s pandering to Joe.

America should defund congress instead-
White citizens support the police in percentages OVER 70%...

Citizens in the black community support the police in percentages over 70% too.
