The city of Seattle announced that it would turn a fire station into a community center for black residents after weeks of protests.
The city announced on Thursday that it would be turning over ownership of the fire station to the community in line with a list of demands given to the city from Africatown and other black activist groups.
"We at the City of Seattle understand the urgency behind making bold investments in the Black community and increasing community ownership of land in the Central District," the city wrote.

I completely agree, but there are a lot of low IQ people who need a massive explicit example to learn from. Watching rampant crime destroying people’s lives on TV in real time would do a lot to make some of these low IQ BLM supporters say, “Gee, I didn’t know THAT was going to happen.”
It would be a wonderful “See I told you so” moment. The carnage would be sad and the collateral damage would be devastating, but it would be a crystal clear example of what happens when you get rid of the police.

If the land and property owners are not supporting any of this, they should not have to pay property taxes to the city, and should be rapidly moving toward major lawsuits against the city.

If it was a closed fire station, that sat vacant, that is one thing. However, it does not appear that is the case.
