The fact that she’s abandoning the city. Who needs a mayor. I know nothing about Seattle’s police, but they couldn’t do any worse with no mayor setting policy. Maybe there’s a worse mayor, but when large swaths of a major city are rebelling, it’s getting beyond the mayor’s job anyway. I assume WA still has a Governor, with State Troopers and National Guard. And if he does nothing, a big part of me thinks it’s a state/local problem to solve.

The mayor is an idiot and should resign either way. This will greatly advance the collapse and the people there will get what they voted for.
