I give you just one of the more glaring examples of this lunacy, the case of Martin Gugino and his treatment at the hands of the Buffalo Police Department.
As has been the case in many cities, Buffalos mostly peaceful protests have been punctuated by violence. On June 1 in that city, two people were shot, stores were looted, and three officers were injured, one of them seriously, when a woman drove a car through a police line. The next day, in response to those incidents, Erie County executive Mark Poloncarz imposed a curfew, effective from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
On June 4, protesters were gathered in Niagara Square, a public plaza at the center of Buffalos government district. When they lingered beyond 8 p.m., Deputy Chief Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia ordered police to enforce the curfew and clear the area. Officers from the Buffalo Police Department and the New York State Police assembled in a skirmish line and began walking north in front of City Hall.
In a now widely seen video, shot by WFBO radio reporter Mike Desmond, Gugino can be seen walking directly toward the officers and stopping in the path of one of them. Note that Gugino is carrying (alas for him, not wearing) a helmet, suggesting he was a veteran protester and prepared for a confrontation.
Upon further scrutiny, Guginos behavior is even more curious. Note the odd way Gugino holds and manipulates his cellphone as he approaches and makes contact with the officers, pressing it against one and then another.

Much like the wireless printer I have in my work truck.
I can go up to a co worker's truck and in a few seconds, pair to his printer for him to print a copy of I want to give him as long as his printer it on.
Maybe I was wrong, maybe not.
Time will tell.
Trump is tweeting about this now.
Buffalo protester shoved by Police could be an ANTIFA provocateur. 75 year old Martin Gugino was pushed away after appearing to scan police communications in order to black out the equipment. @OANN I watched, he fell harder than was pushed. Was aiming scanner. Could be a set up?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 9, 2020
Interesting that a person of color points out “I think he’s (here) looking to get punched in the face” (0:57 minute mark).
Premeditated. Not much different than “suicide by cop”
And he brought his own cameraman!
Almost rivals the atics of Anderson Varejao on the basketball court.
Heres another thought, the way in which he held his phone and projected it toward the officers was how you would hold a taser at someone. Maybe that was the impression he was trying to give to antagonize them into action.
Good find!
Isn’t that curious? He arrived a half-hour before curfew with helmet IN HAND, never put it on his head, and deliberately provoked police ending up with a HEAD INJURY.
This is a fine article; it explains a lot.
I didn’t realize how tall that old bastard is. The harder they fall, right?
Just as I shared on a thread when first viewing this event early on....... Things are never what they seem with reporters and writers intentions today to manipulate scenes and affect public opinion according to their political bias and lust for ‘front page news’.....equally as bad the editors.
Theres also something...a wire? Running up his back under his shirt. There were some close ups of his head when he was lying on the ground, and it looked as if a tube or cord was coming out from under his mask and going in or towards his right ear.
The photos werent very clear, so this interpretation could be wrong, but it sure looked to me like he was perhaps communicating with someone else or set up to do so.
Media is the enemy.
Bkmrk.
Same ear he was bleeding from? Hmm?
What a waste of a life
I suspect he was trying to do a contact pairing with their phones for whatever nefarious purpose.
The guy is a scumbag. Would have been better had he a more impactful injury, IMO.
