P.s. I have been to homes deep in hills here in Ky where you had to travel many miles of dirt road to just reach a place that had running water or electricity. Privileged, yeah right. Maybe privileged to not have to live in this madness.
We all knew this guy was hyper partisan. Bevin was a good guy, trying to fix what Beshears daddy screwed up. He was AG during Bevins term. He sued Bevin every monday, just digging hard to be as disruptive as he could,
My hope was Kentuckians would see thru his BS, but Bevin pissed off the teachers, and that was game over.
Beshears is just a nightmare.
Maybe the folks in Kentucky can find some lawyers to start shoving lawsuits down this guys throat for violating thier civil rights and for discrimination.
I definitely can see a 14th amendment violation lawsuit in the future. All Kentuckians who meet the uninsured threshold, (with, I’m sure, an income qualification), and are not also covered under this “program” are being treated unequally.
If the Governor gives health insurance only to blacks, that’s clearly racial discrimination.
Won’t survive a court challenge.
I’m thinking that’s not only racist but unconstitutional.
I guess Kentucky ain’t gots no Whites w/o heff inshoorinse...
OK - I admit it...that came out a tad racist...they’re wearing me down.
