It's approaching 2 a.m., and City Council member Jeremiah Ellison is patrolling his neighborhood in a black sedan when the smell of smoke wafts through the open driver's side window. Several black-owned businesses had been destroyed in this area — considered the heart of the city’s black community — in recent fires that investigators have deemed “suspicious.” Neighbors suspect right-wing militias, and social media has been abuzz with purported — but unverified — sightings of masked white men in pickup trucks holding semiautomatic assault rifles.

Citizens have the right to protect their blood and treasure when the government is unable or unwilling to do their duty. Also, good idea for citizens of Minneapolis to start practicing when the police are replaced by social workers.

Some right wingers have piled on so they don’t get accused of being racists. It’s astonishing that anyone should deny that rioting and looting are mostly a black thing. Most blacks aren’t criminals, but most, or at least a plurality of, criminals are black. And that extends to people who engage in crimes of opportunity like rioting and looting.

You watch with your own eyes, first hand and on TV, BLM and ANTIFA rioting, looting and burning your city. Then, when it happens closer to home, suddenly it's "right-wing militias". Even though the only people who have been on TV that could remotely be described as "militias" have been PREVENTING rioting, looting and burning by standing in front of stores to defend them, they just LOOK evil (white).

People are so brainwashed about the evil right they can't even process what is happening before their very eyes. When City Council member Jeremiah Ellison is lying in a pool of his own blood at 2am, looking up at the black faces of his murderers, will he see them as righteous warriors for social justice?

The city council members will have the best security details that the city can still purchase. They will not believe themselves to be in any danger from rioters.
