All 57 officers of the Buffalo Police Emergency Response team resigned Friday afternoon in support of two police officers who were suspended without pay after shoving a 75-year-old man to the ground during a protest.
A police union representative told WKBW that the officers were following orders given to them by Deputy Police Commissioner Joe Gramaglia to clear the area and do not believe they were in the wrong.
While the members of the emergency response team resigned from their specific roles, they did not resign from the police department altogether and are still employed.

Leftists are in rebellion in Blue States and now police officers are starting their own rebellion in those States. If Leftists want to disband police forces so badly, then the police in those areas should let the Purge begin.
Hard to see a down side. Fewer paramilitary troops in a civilian police force is good. And a cop who can’t figure out that pushing an elderly person backward is dangerous should not be in a position where their poor judgement puts others at risk.

As a proud dad of a LEO, I really hope he quits and does something else with his life. He has a BA in Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement and graduated Summa Cum Laude, he can get his law degree and do something else. He's awesome with computers and mechanics too. Kid ("Kid" .. he's 24 ...) can do anything. Just wish he'd get out of it.
FBI tried getting him, he didn't want to go there and now wishes he did. Probably be a shitload safer there...
