As fire and riots raged around Lake Street and Hiawatha Avenue last week, several employees of an American Indian nonprofit called Migizi stayed behind to guard their building.
They wrote “native youth center” on the window to discourage attacks. Members of the American Indian Movement came to help. But rioters set fire to the block anyway. The inferno forced out the building’s protectors around 3:30 Friday morning.
When the nonprofit’s executive director, Kelly Drummer, returned to the scene a few hours later and saw the destruction, she said, “I knelt down and I just cried.”
The riots and arson that followed protests of George Floyd’s death have devastated organizations and businesses that serve communities of color. Destruction from the south side’s Lake Street to West Broadway in north Minneapolis has hit immigrant- and minority-owned businesses already struggling amid the pandemic-induced shutdown. Now, ethnically diverse neighborhoods are grappling with the loss of jobs, services and investments.

The shutdowns of businesses help fuel these riots, too many people with no jobs.

That’s OK. Productive, neutral-conservative, non-violent people will be happy to have their taxes raised to pay for re-building. If they don’t, they are racist.

The parasites looted all the supermarkets and pharmacies. There is no bus service or deliveries. I feel for the seniors but somebody elected this cities commies into office.
How much have the minority community leaders been asked to condemn the radical groups that appear to have hijacked and slanted what otherwise would have been righteous and unquestionable protests?
I haven’t been jacked in to the media, but it seems like this just isn’t happening.
For all these shiftless, worthless, good-for-nothing, no-accounts, it was a great big lark. Free stuff. They have sown the wind, they shall reap the whirlwind.
You have to be blind not to see both the coronavirus lockdowns and the riots have the Democrats fingerprints all over them. Yes, they would destroy the economic livelihood and the lives of tens of millions of Americans if that’s what it takes to defeat Trump and regain the White House, and they’re not going to lose an ounce of sleep over it either!

This is all the plan of the demons of the left. The Communists that are called Democrats.
They purposefully dragged their feet on the reopen to hurt the economy and POTUS. Then the riots start and they INTENTIONALLY are letting murder and mayhem continue to hurt people and the economy and therefore POTUS. These people are demons who are doing anything; allowing utter destruction so people will turn on POTUS and they can get back in power and back to business as usual with the globalist deep state agenda.

I wonder if the executive director realizes it is her party that destroyed everything that was important to her.
