Well, DC is not a state, so I would imagine there is no national guard. They have to use the military.
I believe DC has National Guard.
I’ve been retired for a while, but they used to have Military Police units.
D.C. has had Military Police on the front lines for two nights now.
DC has National Guard. I believe their Air Guard was the one that had the dubious distinction of launching F-16s (unarmed) in response to the 9/11 threat on DC and would have been ordered to take down the jet headed to DC that ultimately crashed in PA.
