AFAIK, you can use the military if the situation is proving to be too much for just the state level to handle it. Theres no point in using the military to carpet bomb a criminal in a farmhouse, nationwide chaos sounds very different though,
The Secretary of Defense was just on saying the troops need to "dominate the battlespace". While I know he's talking about National Guard, the are America cities, not Iraq or Afghanistan, and terminology is very important.
Those of you cheering on all of this, just remember, the Dems are taking notes and will be using the same gameplan in the future.
Especially those of you cheering on cops randomly shooting law-abiding citizens with rubber bullets, etc.
