George Floyd's brother says peaceful protests are "the best option we have to bring justice"; Calls on protesters to stop the violence.

The rising anger over the alleged police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis has exploded throughout the United States. There have been anti-police protests in all 50 states during the past several days, and 22 states have activated National Guard troops.

In Minneapolis, where the National Guard patrolled the city all weekend, thousands of protesters have been marching peacefully every day, but there are also pockets of violence, CBS News correspondent Jeff Pegues reports. Police vehicles were set on fire and storefronts and windows were destroyed.

On Sunday night, a memorial to Floyd stretched from the curb where it started out into the street. Peaceful protestors gathered, defying an 8 p.m. curfew and demanding their voices be heard.

"We're not going nowhere until we ready to go home. We're grieving. We're hurt. We have the right to hurt somewhere safe and that's here," one of the demonstrators said.

George's other brother, Rodney, called on protesters to stop the violence.

"I'm asking for peace the same way my brother would ask us to if he could see the situation, if he was here. Peace. Peaceful protests. It is the best option we have to bring justice," Rodney told Pegues.

Investigators believe some of the violence is being fueled by far-right and far-left extremists and other agitators.

This.... From the Enragés of the 18th Century France to the Arditi del Popolo in Italy to the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo in Spain to today's Antifa, Occupy, BLM. It the same thing, always the same thing.

People on this thread are being pretty harsh with the guy.

He’s trying to say and do the right thing. It sounds like he and his family want nothing to do with violence. He has to be grieving and hurting tremendously from the loss of his brother. Whether he comprehends anything about ANTIFA and Communist agitation, who even knows? I choose to give him credit for being a decent human being and extend my sympathies to him.

Ye me too i really feel for him and his family BUT this is a coordinated attack by antifa that has been in the works for years they were just waiting for the right time.
They just KNEW that another Trayvon or Mike brown was going to eventually happen and they bid their time for attack.
All with the help of SOROS, The Corrupt MSM, The DNC, Hussein Obama, Clinton and the rest of them d-bags, The NWO, Globalists, The Communist/Socialist Party, CHINA etc etc...
This is just the latest wave of attack on the Trump presidency with thousand of naive gullible foot soldiers out there on the battlefield doing evils bidding..

This ain’t about Trayvon 6.0.

The issue is never the issue.

The Revolution is always the issue.

It’s too bad that Rubio, who is about to be in charge of the Senate hearings, said this himself. ..... Blame to Far-right and far-left...... He may be so uninformed and/or so stupid that he believes that ANTIFA is really against fascism.

Thanks for the Twitter link.

That guy, Anson looks like an intrepid journalist, the kind that the mainstream media needs but does not have or doesn’t want to hire.

No problem man.
Andy has first hand experience with these domestic terrorists as in getting his skull cracked open by a bunch of those losers.
They are not really “domestic” though they are all over Europe as well....

The protesters are not the violent ones. They make noise, disrupt daily life and are a general pain in the @$$, but they don’t loot stores, burn buildings, attack law enforcement or hurt folks.

And that behavior is so easy to stop; arrest the leaders if possible and shoot the first couple who try to break in to a business, throw something at the cops or set a fire. The rest will scatter. Police snipers in the business district could do it nicely.

If only George had had some of his brother’s wisdom.
