The rising anger over the alleged police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis has exploded throughout the United States. There have been anti-police protests in all 50 states during the past several days, and 22 states have activated National Guard troops.
In Minneapolis, where the National Guard patrolled the city all weekend, thousands of protesters have been marching peacefully every day, but there are also pockets of violence, CBS News correspondent Jeff Pegues reports. Police vehicles were set on fire and storefronts and windows were destroyed.
On Sunday night, a memorial to Floyd stretched from the curb where it started out into the street. Peaceful protestors gathered, defying an 8 p.m. curfew and demanding their voices be heard.
"We're not going nowhere until we ready to go home. We're grieving. We're hurt. We have the right to hurt somewhere safe and that's here," one of the demonstrators said.

George's other brother, Rodney, called on protesters to stop the violence.
"I'm asking for peace the same way my brother would ask us to if he could see the situation, if he was here. Peace. Peaceful protests. It is the best option we have to bring justice," Rodney told Pegues.
Investigators believe some of the violence is being fueled by far-right and far-left extremists and other agitators.

Pockets of violence? Propaganda media description of wide areas of many American cities burning down and being looted.
This isn’t about George, Rodney.
Can’t we all just get along?
Justice is in progress....officer charged. That is how the system works.
You see, when Trump says his campaign was spied upon, the media/Democrats say Trump makes allegation with no evidence.
When the media/Democrats say black man killed by white, offering no evidence, it is already a conviction.
MORE HERE FROM THE FLOYD FAMILY:
Terrence Floyd, the younger brother of George Floyd, said he was still numb from his brothers death, which sometimes makes him angry, but hes refraining from becoming violent in part because thats not what his brother would have wanted.
The riots are overshadowing whats going on, Floyd said in an interview broadcast on ABCs Good Morning America early Monday.
He was about peace, he was about unity, but the things that are transpiring nowthey may call it unity but its destructive unity, its not what he was about. Its not what my brother is about, Floyd said.
If youre angry, its OK to be angry, but channel your anger to do something positive or make a change another way because weve been down this road already. He would want us to seek justice the way we are, the way were trying to do, but channel it another way. The anger, damaging your hometown is not the way hed want.
Terrence Floyd said the fact Floyds family is dealing with Floyds death by being positive about it and seeking justice shows the futility of engaging in violence to try to enact change.
Why are you out here tearing up your community? Because when youre finished and turn around and want to go buy something, you done tore it up. So now you messed up your own living arrangements. So just relax. Justice will be served, he told ABC News, while calling for charges against the other three officers who were at the scene when Floyd was arrested.

kudos to him for the message
but this isnt about his brother anymore
RE: This isnt about George, Rodney.
OK if not about George, what’s it all about then? I still don’t know ( maybe because I’m dumb ).
Sorry Rodney but 70% of this has nothing to do with your brother..
RE: Sorry Rodney but 70% of this has nothing to do with your brother..
OK, where are we getting this 70% figure?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
I'll wait.
Think harder..
RE: Think harder..
OK, let’s think harder.
Maybe you can help me answer this question -— Is there an organizing mind behind these protests that have morphed all over the country?
If so, who are the brains and mastermind behind this operation?
We're well past the point of being able to.
There’s a reason we have the judicial system. Use it.
It’s about overthrowing the Trump Administration and installing a Communist government.

The fact that they lead with far right shows their bias. There is proof of the far left Antifa, but zero evidence of "White Supremacists".
