What are your legal rights to defend yourself in the event you are accidentally caught in one of these protests? (GA here)
Reginald Denny was pulled from his truck and murdered. This is a precedent that they will kill you. Do you want to die? Or do you accept any alternative to that to save your life? I say run them over instead of dying if you value your life.
Use it in good health.
Does your state have castle law?
In places like Seattle, liberals in power prosecuted people who didn’t obey illegal Antifa traffic control or pushed through a mob. When liberal bullies surrounded a vehicle and attacked it for having out of state license plates and a white driver they accused of being racist, the police chief wanted the guy’s information to prosecute him. Never mind the racist Antifa mob might have murdered him.
“...What are your legal rights to defend yourself ...”
If you have to stop and think and ponder it, you’re already dead.
You do WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO to protect YOUR life.
If they surround your vehicle and try to drag you out of it, you FLOOR the gas pedal.
If you’re armed (and you SHOULD BE), you use whatever force necessary to get yourself to safety and neutralize the threat.
You worry about legalities later, because you’ll be ALIVE to do so.
These people are acting like rabid animals; and you need to be ready to deal with it from THAT perspective if your life is threatened.
Check it out for yourself but I believe it is a federal felony to use both wasp spray and bear grade mace on humans even in self defense.
Speaking as a potential juror, youre good.
an ounce of prevention
Don’t live in or go to a city
Reginald Denny was nearly beaten to death. He recovered and later moved to Arizona .
your driving a weapon. drive over them.
“I was in fear for my life.” isn’t the last statement I would make. It would be, “Take me to the Hospital, I am in shock.” (Cooperating and not refusing to answer; GET A F’N LAWYER as soon as you are allowed to call from the Hospital! JMO
They aren't that hard to make.
Fire scares the hell out of people charging your vehicle.
They’ll make you wish you were dead. I got a deferred adjudication on my own property with a gun in 2013. I’d rather I’d die on that day compared to what the cops and courts put me through.
This was Texas too, BTW. Sometimes it’s just easier to die in the situation.
Down-shift to Second and hit the gas.
Invoking rights and the police cannot interrogate you if you asked for a lawyer. Invoking Your Miranda Rights.
#1. I have window cleaner spray bottles in my car on a normal basis as well as disinfectant sprays now for the virus and cleaning hands, keys, etc. All legal.
#2. I have my old geology pick with me. Use it occasional to collect rocks/minerals and fossils. Legitimate. One of my finds is in the Smithsonian’s collection. The other on my shelf - local dinosaur toe-bone, 65 million years old.
3. My aluminum cane - I’m partially disabled. Hard to h it anyone with my walker while I’m seated in my car.
4. Somewhat rusty pen knife, 2-1/2” blade for opening mail, cutting duct tape used on packages, opening sealed drinks if my finders don’t work well. Legal. Keep it under 3 inches or check local laws. Don’t hide under any seats. Keep in the open.
5. Tools such as a monkey wrench, lug-nut wrenches, etc for use on the car.
6. Use to have police baton but gave to my then teenaged daughter for her safety. Now she packs a .380- Sigauer.
7. Keep cans of bug spray around in a car. Mosquitoes, you know. Or a can of touch-up paint. Really cover the troublemaker.
8. Anything for repairing a car or useful like tire chains.
