Profanity is spray painted along the rail line. Shattered glass littered the street. A downed traffic light and an overturned planter lay on sidewalks. Businesses were vandalized and at least one, a Verizon store location, was looted.
This is what downtown Houston looked like Saturday morning following a Justice 4 George Floyd demonstration held the day before, sparked by the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after a white policeman kneeled on his neck for several minutes.

This is the playbook. This is politics. This is information warfare. Create chaos for the TV cameras to change the narrative from COVID. They realized there was no way they could stretch the shutdown to the elections in November. Then have the talking heads on TV blame it on Trump. The media truly is the enemy of the people. Their sole purpose is to stoke fear and panic.
Thumbs up
Thumbs up on Hunt.......I hope Kathaleen Wall gets Pete Olson’s old seat....

Remotely disable. Useless as a brick to make calls.
This is the kind of stuff that happens when a large segment of a cities population has no class. It would seem that they kinda’ deserve to live in the squalor they innevitbely end up with.
Crossing state lines to riot is armed insurrection. They need to be treated accordingly.

It is a Federal crime.
That was my point exactly. No need for locals to take any action.

At stolen in the box, they are not turned on, not listening to a network and cannot be updated. Not bricked. They cannot be connected to a cell network. They might connect to wifi.
Not turned on. Can't be remotely disabled.
Not as bad as I had feared, but I am glad I got myself
and my son out of downtown when I did yesterday. It was sad watching the owner or manager of Zutro trying to save his business from the animals breaking windows.
Yes. The guys on video smashing windows at Zutro/La Meridien were not white, and looked local.
I dpoke at length to the tech at a nearby Verizon that was robbed at gunpoint.
Apparently modern devices can brick themselves once they detect a cell or wifi when they broadcast their MAC address. And unless you are in the Himilayas such a signal will be found.
Even if they are older they can never be activated.
And any attempt to activate will broadcast the GPS location.
It is multilayered.
