Minneapolis has once again descended into chaos. The police have retreated. And where is the National Guard? Well, they set up a defensive perimeter, and then they ran away. I’m not kidding. Our own Julio Rosas is on the ground reporting on the chaos and was hit with a rubber bullet in the chest in the process.
A curfew was imposed, but of course, no one is following it. Did people think that would be adhered to in this situation? It’s anarchy. It’s chaos. And I guess we cannot be shocked, given that the political leadership gave a stand-down order last night and allowed rioters to overrun and burn down a police headquarters.
First reports show that around 500 National Guardsmen have been deployed. That is not enough. Today, the Guard and police showed up just in time to protect the smoldering ruins of Minneapolis only to be pushed back by an unruly mob. Is this worse than the Freddie Gray riots in Baltimore or the Michael Brown chaos in Ferguson?

Even the governor knows that those most bent on destruction and devastation are coming in form elsewhere. (”Antifa” is the word he’s looking for but dare not say.)
It is way past the time when the DOJ/FBI declare Antifa a domestic terrorist organization and treat them accordingly. Those that are suspected to be a part of the outsider group present in Mineapolis should taken into custody, investigated and their associations traced to the top leadership. These heathens are interested only in the destruction of law and order.
The Floyd death has changed from a reason to demonstrate to an excuse for anarchy.

2. Shoot rioters in the legs.
3. Try for the knee as it is most painful but not fatal
4. Riot over

I am sitting in front of my tv watching the mayor of Minneapolis say that they failed to protect the city because they do not have the numbers of police necessary to stop the looters and arsonist. He said that if they successfully placed a policeman in front of every business that asked for help, the ratio would have been 1 policeman against 100 looters and arsonist. Hey, mayor, when your policemen legally carry guns to be used in their protection and the protection of the citizens and their property, then do the numbers really matter. No! They do not have to shoot to kill. Just a couple of wounded will disperse hundreds of looters and arsonist. Even the professional, paid Antifa instigators will get the hell out of Dodge if they think their personal self is in real danger.
Between the Red Chinese virus and this retreat of taxpayer-funded law enforcement, those impacted businesses should never pay another cent in tax.
When you pay cops, this behavior isn’t acceptable.
Here in NJ, most fire departments are volunteers while a few are still paid (holdovers from our manufacturing heyday, originally funded by businesses, now primarily by homeowners). Volunteers can refuse to enter a burning building; not so for the paid departments - there is a reason for that (more like many thousands of reasons).

I expect businesses to initiate a class action suit against the publishers Twitter and Facebook for allowing their platforms to be used for organizing this mayhem.
When my cousin went to the FBI shooting course, they were taught that in dangerous situations they should aim for the “d!ck”, causing the threat to collapse (broken pelvic bone) and bleed (several big arteries).

Governor Walz claims 80% of rioters are not from Minnesota. He says they are tracing it to cartels and white supremacists. He has finally called up the full force of the National Guard which will be somewhere between 2500 and 13000. No firm number. Walz still won’t accept military police. He doesn’t like the “look” of federal troops in the state.
