Minneapolis has once again descended into chaos. The police have retreated. And where is the National Guard? Well, they set up a defensive perimeter, and then they ran away. I’m not kidding. Our own Julio Rosas is on the ground reporting on the chaos and was hit with a rubber bullet in the chest in the process.
A curfew was imposed, but of course, no one is following it. Did people think that would be adhered to in this situation? It’s anarchy. It’s chaos. And I guess we cannot be shocked, given that the political leadership gave a stand-down order last night and allowed rioters to overrun and burn down a police headquarters.
First reports show that around 500 National Guardsmen have been deployed. That is not enough. Today, the Guard and police showed up just in time to protect the smoldering ruins of Minneapolis only to be pushed back by an unruly mob. Is this worse than the Freddie Gray riots in Baltimore or the Michael Brown chaos in Ferguson?

If I were Trump, I would chide their (leftist) mayor and governor for letting the city burn. Offer Federal help, but only if used properly.
Not only did they ignore the curfew, they ignored the Covid shelter in place rules!

Went to Texas Roadhouse last night for some chow. Majority of folks waiting to be seated were not wearing PPE. Then there was one table where the patrons wore them until the food showed up and when they finished promptly donned their PPE again. Some places folks wear them constantly others, not so much. So it seems SIP is wearing thin on a lot of folks including the peaceful protestors. NOT! They should be fined for littering.
500 NG troops!! What a joke! You need to send a division in to clean this mess up.
None of these events should come as a surprise to anybody. The Commies have been telling us for the past several months that this summer was going to be riots from coast to coast. The “Russia Collusion” thing didn’t work. Nor did “Quid Pro Quo” or that kangaroo court “impeachment” bullsh*t. The Commies then went for broke with their ChiComVirus and that was an epic fail as well. Now they think rioting, looting and mayhem is going to get rid of President Trump. This too shall fail.
I say that we need to slap those Commies in the face and then put them in their place.
The Guard would have fled after being ordered to do so. And only 500 assigned to this?
This is going to get expensive. Folks outside the city will need to develop a functional tactical plan in the next few minutes.
Wanna stop all this rioting and looting? Tell the Governors they’re holding church services.
It’s not that they really wanted to violate the curfew, they were all waiting for the weepy-eyed pansy mayor to bring them masks.
Instead of the police and NG “holding ground” why don’t they send in helicopters to saturate the rioters with teargas or pepper spray and then advance on them and sweep up as much of the trash as possible. That, and arrest or shoot the instigators and their paymasters (Soros and others).
Anyone know what type (Branch) the Guard unit was?
I have been telling my wife for years that liberals and the media have been at war against us deplorables for years and the go along to get along Republicans like Paul Ryan, John McCain, and Mitt Romney enabled them. The war has now been made fully apparent in 2020 and the average American thinks this violence will eventually pass.
It’s only going to get worse.

Neither the police nor the guard will be given orders to shoot anyone who is setting fire to a building or attacking people. But they should get that order. Police are supposed to be there to protect people. They are not going to be allowed to protect anyone. It’s a given that the police are not allowed to shoot looters. No way. The looters are taking “reparations” from their “oppressors” for years of “oppression.” They have a right to take things.
So this will continue several more nights, or until there are no more sneakers to steal, no more Whitey buildings to burn down, no more little old ladies on wheelchairs to attack. It is being fueled by the usual hate-America crowd.
It all started as organic, peaceful protests at the intersection where the incident happened
Then the out-of-towners showed up and started escalating things
Then the professional anarchists showed up and sacked a police precinct house
Last night we saw foreign agents directing the unrest. The governor came out at 1:30am and during his statements let it slip that they were not prepared for the military tactics being employed against the police.
This is asymmetric warfare
