this epidemic will soon be treated like every other natural disaster, and each individual will make his own choices on how to act based on his own reason, true interests, and hierarchy of values.

you KNOW Ralph Northam does not care- why would you contact him? Unless it’s to make yourself feel better. That I understand.

Your point being that because I can’t tell (and you’re right, I can’t tell) if a person on the street is vulnerable to a covid death, we should shut down the country, stay in our houses and wear masks. Masks, being key here because we are protecting this person who may not know they could die?

I do only because I have lung problems.

And I don't only because I have lung problems.

I am stating that you are incorrect when you say we all know who is vulnerable. You don’t.

Just as, I suspect, many here decrying wearing masks are vulnerable and just don’t know it yet.

It is your choice to wear or not wear a mask where allowed by law.

I wonder if you will regret the decision if you come down with it and find that you were really at risk

In any case, you have to live or not live with the decision.

Come on! The stats say that the death rates skyrockets from virtual zero to 1% above the age of 70+. Even you know that.

No, you don’t know who is vulnerable.

If you carry the Alzheimer gene and are fit and healthy and 35 and don’t have dementia yet are you vulnerable.

Yes or no

The answer is MAYBE

I have to say that we haven’t encountered any mask “situations” here in E TN. People wear masks, and people don’t wear masks. I guess everyone respects “a person’s right to choose”.

It is the reality. You just don’t know who is vulnerable.

I gave a perfect example.

Let me quote Mayo Clinic

“Many people with von Willebrand disease don’t know it because the signs are mild or absent.”

Now after all these years..how do I know I may have an issue. Looking back, nose bleeds that frequently vexed my mother and sent me to the emergency room more than once, mild clotting issues sometimes when my blood is taken..but most of all major clots during really heavy periods

Were it not for Medcram, I would have never realized it is a potential issue with me

So ONCE AGAIN, people here that think they dont have a problem because they aren’t in YOUR targeted belief of only susceptible people...may, in fact, be wrong.

I went for routine ear check today.......
....it was in a large ‘doctor’s building’
The reason I wore my mask ....
...I had to walk past a gauntlet of cars lined up for Covid testing!

I just made an appointment for a mammogram. I’m a breast cancer survivor. I’m 3 months late on this required medical procedure. It’s scheduled for late June. The Karen making the appointment said to wait in my car in the parking lot and call. I told her I wouldn’t do it but I would be there and just walk in. She tried to give me the number to call but I just hung up.

A friend told me that wearing a mask makes him feel like he’s in a PORN movie.

I had it in February. Do I still have to wear a mask?

Have you noticed that they dont even know that right now.

It’s all a big MAYBE as to whether you can get it again if you have the antibody..and even those tests are not accurate...
