In Investment Banking they often want employees who tell the truth and don't lie to the police, or bear false witness.
Get internet famous enough to bring bad press on your employer and you get fired. Sure, what she did was completed unrelated to her job. Until people figured out who she was and where she worked.

Wveryone else in the world does not know how your dog is going to react to others and stuff going on around them. Put them on a leash and save everyone trouble and yourself, potential liability issues. Plus maybe keep your dog safer as they can’t run into the street.

You nailed it. So the woman gets bent out of shape because someone asked her to follow the rules but rules are only for surfs and she was insulted. And like a dimocrat she concocted her revenge and it backfired on her because of identity politics. Goodness, and this made the news?
What would have happened if she had simply ignored him and walked on. Most likely we wouldn’t be hearing about this.
If she felt threatened, she would have walked (or ran) away, not STAYED there.
Of course we don’t know what happened before the video starts ... but why would a man who is supposedly threatening a woman videotape the encounter? The man appears calm and well-spoken and the woman appears irrational.
The woman is also choking her own dog using the dog’s collar and complaining that a man is threatening her dog. :-) That alone was worth the price of admission.
Yeah — I might fire her ... but not based on racism or any such nonsense. The woman simply appears irrational. I would look into it some more, e.g. does she act irrational like that on the job?
However the charge of racism is absurd. It is almost as if the man set this up, triggered the woman and then captured it on camera to claim racism. One liberal triggering another liberal. Or maybe the black guy videoed the encounter as a defensive measure in case the woman pressed charges? Who knows?
I don’t think I agree with the actions of either of these people.
People like this need to be hunted down. Police do not exist to swat others with because they tell you to obey an ordinance/law.
This is the mindset we deal with now. As a woman she fakes a problem with a man to police, hoping they pound on him for her because he had the audacity to tell her to put her dog on a leash.
Note post 27, 58, 69. He was threatening her, more accurately her dog, presuming his report is accurate. And his threat was pre recording.

Like others here, I suspect that she may have exhibited questionable behavior before; and this was over-the-top enough to finally cause them to fire her.
I’ve seen situations where troublesome, disruptive people are kept on for various reasons - often legal reasons - until finally they do something provable that will stick.
Amazing how many people who support “right to work” laws don’t give a damn when it comes to a entitled white person threatening a black person, *THEN* it becomes “It’s her private life”. No; if you would LIE to police, break the law and abuse your animal you shouldn’t be working for any company where integrity is involved.
If I found out one of my employees filed a false police report, I would fire them too. What else have they done that's illegal, or planning to do? It speaks to character.
