At the time she mentioned that she was going to call the police and say that “there was an African-American man threatening (her) life”, any filming from that point forward is simply the only protection the man has against the woman’s word; I cannot imagine that in our post - Blasey-Ford world, even a woman would fault him for this.
Unborn Babies less.
Please post a link. No one believes you.
Interesting point.
If that’s how you play the game to “win” then by definition you lose.
What kind of person needed to use racism to win in the situation being described? If my kids were held at gunpoint OK I would say what I needed to say. What was her excuse? “I was above the rules & no one is allowed to question me.” “I’ll ruin your life as soon as spit on you if you cross me”
I’m not sure if in that context she is racist or not; what she is is worse.
That was my first thought too. “Hmm - pretty specific bird watcher.”
“..and a black dude who goes bird watching?”
Well, that would explain the camo gear, binoculars, cameras and recording equipment and the notebook.
Wow. You must have limited experience with Black people.
I’ve known many people of that ‘persuasion’ who are intensely involved with animals, professionally and in terms of hobbies. Many of them are dog breeders-showers, rehabbers, falconers, pigeon fanciers, vets and vet-techs, etc.
An upset woman who used the politically correct term for an African American. Absolutely politically correct overkill. No shame by the employers and others. A few words of advice would have been sufficient. IMHO
She should have been shot for the way she was pulling on that poor dog.
As someone else pointed out, doing something someone else "isn't going to like" is not a reason to call the police. It is not illegal to do something "you aren't going to like." In fact, the whole problem here is liberals assuming that anyone doing anything they don't like is a police matter, because the law exists to enforce their emotions.
Excellent point. She could have accused him of God knows what. The very fact that she was willing to call the police because he was filming her and offered her dog a treat, willing to claim that he'd threatened her, shows she was perfectly capable of accusing him of assault.
You are asking if I felt threatened by your comment?
LOL. Not in the least. Thats so ridiculous. Do I have to fear words? And maybe you are going to reach through the screen and get me? Lord...
Lets agree to disagree.
Yes, and further can we please point out again SHE was the one actively abusing her dog! A long time.
Try letting someone strangle you and see how long you can last not breathing and being hanged and dragged around by your neck.
Not to you personally, the collective you, for those who insist this man was the threat to her dog. She clearly was the threat we saw it! Sheesh.
Pretty much all my dogs (boys and girls) would have taken his doggy treat as long as it was passed to me first, then ATE HIM if he did not have a whole pickup load more for them.
They are all pretty big boys and girls; Kangals and German Shepherds, well socialized but but don’t much care for anyone or anything outside their pack.
(no we don’t go to dog parks for exercise, they would not take well to unknown people or other dogs).
We live in the middle of nowhere, nearest neighbor is 3 miles away, and they stay on the property.
They were both wrong and they’re both assholes. And I’m very surprised at the how many freepers are spun up over this. I wrongly assumed there was a strong libertarian bent amongst us freepers. I stand corrected.
Because we are so deep into "politically correct" they're piping the sunlight to us.
I expect next they'll be demanding "Safe Sex with Social Distancing"
Poor puppy. The incident wasn’t his fault. I hate that he was banished to a shelter, just because his owner is an obnoxious moron.
I hope a good family quickly adopts him. I have a feeling that this Karen wasn’t the best owner.
Kinda strange your attitude towards that woman. She bears no responsibility for breaking the rules, for being rude and disturbing the wildlife.....
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
You are either lying or ignorant of my past posts because I acknowledged that she was a jerk and she should have had her dog on a leash.
None of that excuses the threat that the man made however.
You misunderstood the question; I certainly didn’t feel threatened.
The sentence just didn’t fit the rest of the post and I asked for clarification; there’s nothing to read into.
“”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””
Yeah. Sure.
I agree to disagree.
I do not see that as a threat. It’s only a threat to her self esteem because all she had to do was put the dog on the lead or walk away.
I was trying to make it obvious that you are buying into the garbage this woman was spreading. There was no threat just a Karen who wasn’t getting her way.
