On Monday, President Donald Trump put out a series of tweets pointing to North Carolina Gov. Roy Coopers (D) uncertainty about how much longer his state will be shut down due to the coronavirus, which could cause issues with Charlotte hosting the Republican National Convention in August.
Not long after the presidents tweets, Vice President Mike Pence on FNCs Fox & Friends shared some more insight into Trumps tweets about the possibility of moving the convention.
Pence said the Trump administration has been weighing the issue about moving to a state that is further along in reopening, but they are still working with Cooper because they want to be in Charlotte.

Come to Jacksonville FL! Our mayor isnt great (hes a semi-Karen) but most of North Florida is good. And we do have large facilities here, lots of hotels, international airport, etc.
I suggest Colorado. Got a feeling about that state.
I remember how EPIC TRUMP’S rally was in Houston. If nothing else, float the Houston Convention trial BLIMP (not balloon) and watch the unhinging of Hidalgo and company. I live in this pathetic libtard ditch, let us have SOME kind of kick @$$ fun here!
Hi, Mr. Vice President.
Come to St. Pete. Pinellas went for president Trump and you, we have great facilities, transportation infrastructure and excellent beaches.
Even though the mayor, Rick Kreisman is a lefty, he has only screwed up twice (the Rays and water treatment plant ), he will probably put out the welcome mat.
Thanks for listening. Say “hi” to president Trump for me.

Good point, McSally needs all the help she can get.
Move it to Indianapolis the week before or after the rescheduled 500
We can handle it and it will be a two week party!
Even our over his head wimp “Republican” governor could not stop it!
Agree on GA or AZ. GA has opened. Not sure about AZ.
This will hurt Charlotte in a big way.
All upper floors downtown are booked.
Take it to Tampa if required.
When you put it like that, it’s hard to disagree!
Stop the threats and just do it.
How about Cape Girardeau Missouri? Red as red can be...
No states within the path of a potential hurricane. Anyone remember 2012 in Tampa?
Arizona open
Governor Cooper (Tyrant-NC) has got to be taking big-time heat from businesses who were no doubt counting on the GOP to help recover some of the losses they have incurred — and are still incurring — from the governor’s gross overreaction to the Chinese virus. The citizens of NC must be reeling now that they know their state may remain shut down for another three months!
I am in NC and I would strongly recommend moving the Republican National Convention to a Red = OPEN - state and do it now! Don’t wait.
Bring it to the middle Georgia area.
There aren’t all that many indoor arenas bigger than Cleveland’s:

Would they consider an outdoor venue?
A few of these are indoor:

How large is Rush Limbaugh’s home town in Missouri?
Could they handle the RNC Convention?
Sure would be a finger in the eye of the Dems.
Except for St Louis, IIRC, Missouri is a pretty red state.
