No, Bryan was arrested because if Gregory and Travis McMichael committed murder (as they’re currently charged with doing), then anyone who assisted them in the murder is guilty as well. And since Gregory McMichael told police that Roddie Bryan helped them, Roddie Bryan has been arrested.
I don’t know how anyone would expect Bryan not to be arrested, given the charges pending against the McMichaels and the statements made by Gregory McMichael to police. If you have someone on trial for murder, how do you explain not arresting and charging the guy that one of the murderers says helped them do it? It’s obvious Bryan was set to be arrested.
I wouldn't expect *ANYONE* to get arrested in the case, and the only reason anyone is is because race baiting poverty pimps have made a big hue and cry about another black man getting killed. They only care about black deaths when they aren't caused by black people. They are silent on the far larger numbers of murders committed in black on black crime.
Had this guy been white, none of these cases would have been filed. Nobody would care. The guy would have gotten what he deserved for attacking a man armed with a shotgun.
I think black people should be treated the same way white people should be treated. I don't believe in having two different standards of justice.
Arbery was a violent thug, and he made the fatal mistake of attacking a man armed with a shotgun.
It DOES NOT MEAN that Bryan assisted in that murder. It means that Bryan was committing a felony (the charge in this case is that at some point he tried to use his vehicle to stop or cut Arbery off) and, shortly thereafter, someone (Arbery) was killed.
The GBI has told us that the specific felony committed by Bryan is "false imprisonment."
Correction: The GBI has told us that the specific felony committed by Bryan is “ATTEMPTED false imprisonment.”
Hope you experience enrichment.
