Slick Willie was President. His She Wolf wife was selling State Secrets to the Chinese at the time.

Yep, I am worried about our own nation. Unprecedented socialist power grab using this virus BS. The governor of Oregon, socialist Kate Brown came on the radio and said she "was going to allow people to go to the coast and to the woods this memorial day weekend, and we would not have to fear her State Police arresting us" but we are on notice to socialist distance and advised to stay at home.
Never heard of any such thing in my lifetime, my WW2 dad must be rolling in his grave, he would be livid and ready to fight if he were still alive.
the worlds socialist rulers are are on a full press assault

That’s a lovely thought, but when China lands 5 million regulars on the island and threatens war against anyone who interferes, what are we (or anyone else for that matter) going to do about it?
Answer: nothing.
We’ve gotten ourselves in quite a mess by handing all our manufacturing capability over to them. Now none of the western countries can truly stand up to China. Maybe if we try real hard, we can claw back some of that capability and in just two or three decades, be in a position to tell China no.

Oh, wow, all that liberalization and democratization trade and MFN status, and WTO membership, was supposed to bring to China sure is working out great. Where are all those Americans who pushed trade with China so we can congratulate them.
Those Red Chinese Commies really are joining the family of nations just like the trade with China promoters promised us they would.

Oops, not island (well, some of it is, but not all of it). Point remains.

we also need to remember that the USSR, with all its nation-states, nukes, and totalitarian control, did fall. And to a large extend the USSR failed because of its inability to compete with the West financially. Reagan's policies broke them financially.
With China, the policies have been to enrich and empower the world's largest communist nation, probably the dumbest and most dangerous US foreign and trade policies in our history.
The policies have created the richest communist nation and the richest communist party in history.

President Trump: It is imperative that we put China on notice as to the consequences they would face if they try to end the one country, two systems arrangement of autonomy in Hong Kong. Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) May 22, 2020
He's for justice for Hong Kong but not President Trump against Obama and his coup plotters.

“Can anyone explain why Hong Kong was given to the Chinese in the first place?”
Perhaps we should ask Jimmy Carter, he has experience is such matters.

But to where would 7 million people evacuate?America has killed over 60,000,000 potential citizens in the last 40+ years.
7 million Chinese would make a small number to help fill that loss.

I do think we are heading for a hot war.
I don't...
Description
"The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting." THE ART OF WAR is an ancient Chinese military treatise attributed to Sun Tzu, a high-ranking military general, strategist and tactician. The text is composed of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of warfare. It is commonly known to be the definitive work on military strategy and tactics of its time. It has been the most famous and influential of China's Seven Military Classics, and "for the last two thousand years it remained the most important military treatise in Asia, where even the common people knew it by name." It has had an influence on Eastern and Western military thinking, business tactics, legal strategy and beyond.

Because the British had no means of keeping it if push came to shove with the PRC. Run to the UN and whine would be their only option. That wasn’t our excuse.

Next on Xi’s list, Taiwan.
The USA needs to declare Taiwan a sovereign country and set up diplomatic relationships.
Now.

Because it is to small and highly populated to defend.
That said, the Bloody Britdogs did a piss poor job with the treaty. If you want to blame Margret Thather for anything, this is it.

Hi.
Ya know that if we hit China with a bioweapon, the CCP would probably be greatful.

If you are in social media, you would know that *THAT* is exactly what China accuses the USA of doing in regards to Covid-19.
In Summary:
The USA brought infected military athletes to compete in the October 2019 Wuhan Military Games and That was the start of the infection that spread around the world.

Another victory for Communism which never died. In America, the DNC is popping corks and sharpening knives to finish off America as Soros smiles. The DNC is much like many people in power. SOME people let power go to their head. I think Hillary is one of those people.
Also, people in power often like to keep a low profile. They sometimes don't want anyone to know who they are. That kind of power person is particularly pernicious.
The DNC leadership is TOTALLY given way to a******s but the not-SO-big-fatheads, who MUST exist in the shadows, keep a low profile. Some may even be nice but they made their choice, didn't they?
