A Nebraska man has been arrested by police for allegedly shooting a convicted child sex predator to death after he allegedly saw the convicted pedophile leering at children in the street. You what else this guy I talked about was doing? Masturbating with items of clothing from that store. Yes, I would have shoved a Mag-Lite, along with most of his teeth, down his throat.

That's not "virtue signaling". What does that even mean, anyway?

And no, I'm not a desperate 'yelping yahoo'. I hadn't thought about that incident in many years.

“I don’t know where you live, but everywhere in the US you will end up behind bars”

The guy will go to jail based on the story, and apparently was willing to make that sacrifice. From the article:

“I researched him more and more and found that he had victimized dozens of kids in different states. One kids’ mother had created a predator Facebook page about him trying to warn people about him. Her son had been assaulted by him when he was 5 and the damage he did led the poor guy to die of a drug overdose years later…”

Again, no sympathy. It kind of makes me wonder if the shooter may have been a victim of a pedophile.

I read the story.

Nothing in the story indicated there was an imminent threat to anyone. A call to his parole officer would have taken care of this.

I am sure the guy was a creep. But, in a civilized society we cannot go around shooting people. AND what kind of a psycho was this guy sending out an admission like that?

What is it with these quasi LEOs thinking they can shoot people? This guy needs to rot.

When the "rule of law" lets some sick f**k like this kid toucher back out on the street - yeah, I'm against the rule of law.

I'd give the man a medal for shooting him. I'd give him the keys to the city if he also shot the judge that let the pedophile see the light of day again.

“This guy should be severely punished with about 100 hours of community service and not a minute less.”

Throw the book at him. Not a day less than Lois Lerner, James Comey, Peter Strozck, and Lisa Page.

His only personality flaw is needing to seek attention by admitting to the killing.

Just live your life knowing you did humanity a favor and STFU.

It’s also got a yelping yahoo on who virtue signals with “law” that has long since left justice and the good of society behind.

They legally let out the pervert, again and again. You aND the law are satified. Good for you. If you can’t see a BIG problem down the line I feel sorry for you.

One of the first responsibilities of the administrators and stewards of the law is to protect respect FOR the law. But the law, like everything else is in the hands of ideologues who do nothing but virtue signal these days.

Hell, I know that. Getting rid of the vigilantes is always as big a problem as the things that cause the rise of vigilantisim.

The thing that irks the hell out of me is the apparent predictability of the rise of vigilantisim from a reasonably civilized people. This pervert is dead because the killer KNEW, not thought, not kinda’believed but KNEW that The Law would facilitate his attacking another child.

If The Law groups extreme attacks on children, or anyone, with mundane crime THAT contributes to contempt for law...as was see in this case.

You bring up the one thing that is heavily agreed upon by med pros about pedos. They never stop when they are free. They are active at all times.

The killer committed a crime. He decided to sacrifice himself to stop a habitual child rapist.

Given his actions and comments, I wonder if the killer is a victim of similar abuse and if that will affect the punishment.

The man confessed, in detail, to purposeful, deliberate, premeditated murder. That’s first degree murder in Nebraska and every other jurisdiction. That’s punishable by life without parole or death in Nebraska.

Correct; we've seen some pretty crazy things going on regarding justice these last years, though. No telling what could happen.

Be honest with ya, I'll lay money that what ever happens, it will read like the script of a Law and Order:SVU episode.

There’s an old saying that some people just need killing. And if the law will not take care of it, somebody has to have the guts to do it. Who else is going to protect our defenseless children if the law refuses to do it?

Perfectly true, but the fact is we don’t live in a civilized society. If we did the pedophile would have been executed following his first conviction.

Well and truly said, and every word of it! If we lived in a truly civilized society, pedophiles would be executed immediately following their first conviction. No exceptions and no appeals.

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that day arrived years ago in many of the major cities in the U.S. and around the world. Think Chicago for starters!
