The National Football League (NFL) is proposing a new rule that would reward teams that hire minority head coaches and general managers with improved positions in the college draft.
If you’re going to go diversity, you may as well go all in.
Under the proposal, a team could improve its third-round draft position by up to 16 places. Teams will receive an improvement of ten spots if they hire a minority general manager or equivalent front-office position, and six spots for hiring a minority head coach.
Of the last 20 NFL head coaches hired, just 2 were minorities.
The league is concerned that the racial makeup of its hierarchy does not reflect the racial character of its fan base. The new rule still needs approval by 24 of the 32 owners to go into effect.

It’s because the black fan base threatened to “Black Out” (Boycott) watching the NFL season and buy NFL merchandise if more black people didn’t get jobs in the higher offices of the NFL.
The public was told it was all about Collin Kaputnik kneeling but that was a distraction. Players were permitted to kneel. Ultimately it was about getting the office jobs.
There are still some years old Youtube videos promoting this boycott by the black community.

Funny thing is that the Cleveland Browns are one of the two teams with the much-desired black general manager. Thing is...he's a brilliant Harvard grad, heavily into analytics, who never played pro football. Majored in stats and computer science.
The other black NFL GM is Chris Grier...who is a very smart Amherst grad who also spent all his time in front offices and never played NFL ball.
GM jobs are about smarts -- not about how fast you run the 40, or how many reps of 225 you can do on the bench. There is absolutely zero logical basis for believing that the pool of individuals qualified to be NFL GM's looks anything like the pool of individuals qualified to be NFL players. Exactly. There’s something like a dozen FBS black coaches, half of whom are at any time on the lists of coaching hotseats.

The NFL is admitting the Blacks are not good head coaches and have to bribe teams to hire them. Why don’t they promise an automatic playoff birth to every team with a black head coach?

My school has a minority coach, Kevin Sumlin. I wish he would go somewhere else.

OK, but the additional draft picks have to be white, to make it “fair”!
There are only around 14 black head coaches in FBS (around 130 schools), 5 of them are in the weak sister PAC 12.
Not many of those 14 are very sucessful.

The NFL needing more minorities is about as funny as a diversity staffer at the NBA.
I guess I was a holdout and still watched the NFL. It amazes me how so many can out stupid themselves and do things that will simply destroy all in the name of whatever the fvk. The NFL can die,and I won’t care. The left has destroyed another institution.
