The National Football League (NFL) is proposing a new rule that would reward teams that hire minority head coaches and general managers with improved positions in the college draft.
If you’re going to go diversity, you may as well go all in.
Under the proposal, a team could improve its third-round draft position by up to 16 places. Teams will receive an improvement of ten spots if they hire a minority general manager or equivalent front-office position, and six spots for hiring a minority head coach.
Of the last 20 NFL head coaches hired, just 2 were minorities.
The league is concerned that the racial makeup of its hierarchy does not reflect the racial character of its fan base. The new rule still needs approval by 24 of the 32 owners to go into effect.

How about marrying a black woman, empowering her through the riches afforded young athletes, raising children together and strengthening the black community for this and future generations? It might be tough language for some to dissolve but the perpetual victimization gets tiresome.
Is this because all the best coaches happen to be white guys?
love this kinda’ stuff. Can’t leave well enough alone. That’s why 90% of businesses fail. Can’t see the trends, try to stay ahead of them and end up doing the wrong thing. This lockdown is a perfect example.
It’s ultimately because racist universities won’t hire minority coaches so there is a feeder system to the NFL, right?

Hiring Whites ?
Remember when whites were told, scolded and even brainwashed into believing that ‘race doesn’t matter’?
It’s also going to be fun to watch when player’s salaries starts dropping.
College players hoping for an NFL career won’t be happy.
I haven’t watched NFL in years. When it turned into a collection of druggies and thugs I no longer found any interest in it. Not missed either.

Yes, but when half a century of free sh!t didn’t improve the lot of the “victims”, it was clear that assimilation was impossible for too many - so now we just pretend they fit with gimmicks like this. Been happening in the business world for years, with a predictable outcome: Tokens kept on the payroll to create the illusion of a black middle class (though it applies to other “preferred victims” as well), and a complete lack of progress while the real work is done by competent people (of any color).
The NFL is ponying up its “diversity tax”, as the private sector has for decades...
Hell, how about white people?
It's about time that the NFL, and all professional sports, recognize the inherent evil of their white privilege and institutional racism.
The only cure is to abolish white perceived concepts merit and eliminate the historic badges of bigotry by making the professional sports teams entirely composed of people of color or other victim status.
I know that I will gladly plunk down thousands of dollars every year to watch the Black NFL teams pummel each other.
So black people are only good enough for the third round. How degrading.
Asians and Trans, that should do it.
How many Japanese or Israelis are on NFL teams?
So they have to hire more White and Hispanic players?
The NBA shows they’d rather suck up to Communist China than uphold American liberty.
