That Awful Senate Hearing on 5/12/20
Why yes I did watch the hearing in the Senate by the HELP (that's what it's called, I don't know why) committee and four "experts" to include Dr. Fauci, head of NIH, Admiral Brett Giroir, HHS Assistant Secretary, Robert Redfield, CDC Director and Stephen Hahn FDA Commissioner.
All this thing was was a big political campaign ad. Absolutely nothing new was introduced or learned.
First, this Fauci guy told the senate committee that schools would likely not open this coming Fall. Now nobody wants to hear that. But the King of the Universe, Fauci, has so deemed it.
We need to forget sill stuff like elections. These bureaucrats control us.
Senator Murray, from Washington state, one of the WORST states as concerns this virus, said that President Trump did not give her state enough money.
NO amount of money is enough for these people. Senator Murray is an awful leader so she did what all the Democrats did on this committee...she used her allotted time to bash Trump.
Rand Paul looked awful, what's up with that? At any rate, kudos to Paul, who said with no doubt that Fauci is not the King of the Universe.
Bernie Sanders, who never did anything political of note except name a few buildings, uses his time, his despicable self, to tell the world watching that President Trump lies to us.
No this was not about the President. It was supposed to be an opportunity for the Senate to learn about the current situation about the pandemic and plans to re-open the economy.

MAJOR CULTURE EVENT OF THE WEEK

I would tell my descendants about two rather extraordinary shootings that took place these fast few weeks, both involving a black man and white participants.

Ahmaud Aubrey was shot by two white men in Georgia. This is an unusual story. Seems that Ahmaud was jogging down a road when somehow he was confronted by an older white man and his son. One was carrying a rifle, I don't know why but Aubrey tried to grab what was a loaded shotgun. In the struggle the gun went off. and Aubrey was killed.
This happened a while prior to this writing and there wasn't much coverage of it what with a virus about to kill us all.
Further research has video of Aubrey inside of a home under construction, walking around and checking out stuff. It wasn't his house and why was he inside?
At some point he began running. Some say he was taking a quick jog around the neighborhood but his home was quite a bit away from where he was jogging.
Anyway, howls arose and Georgian authorities are further investigating.
At this point it was Aubrey who tried to grab the shotgun and it went off in the struggle and killed him.
Can the two gun-toters get in trouble for this, what they describe as, an accident?

The more interesting story to me, since it is very close to my own home, was a very strange shooting in a local cemetery that as of this writing still leaves many questions.
Sheldon C. Francis, 29, of Middletown, Delaware, shot two people who were at the cemetery visiting their son's grave.
The shooting happened at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery located on Chesapeake City Road around 10:15 a.m. Friday 5/8/20. Delaware State Police say 85-year old Lidia Marino was pronounced deceased on scene. Her husband 86-year-old Paul C. Marino was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died on Saturday. The couple was from Elkton, Maryland.
I write this about five days after all the shootings but it was known about everywhere around these parts. So far Delawareans have not been given any reason why this guy Francis wanted to kill these two elderly people. In fact, Francis himself died during the shooting but all we hear from the Delaware state police is it is unknown whether Francis died from a gunshot from his own hand or from police shootings.
This tells us that the Delaware state police were involved in a shoot-out with this guy but come on, they can't tell whether it was the guy's gun killing himself or the state police gun?
Again, that is all that is known about this bizarre shooting so close to me.
Both of these strange shootings involve black people shooting white people and the other way around.
