Bray, I believe you might be flirting with the sum of it.
I hate to think that my own countrymen somehow, on some level, participated in what they thought would be the destruction of my country.
Even worse, like everything else, they’ll probably get away with it.
I believe it was Lincoln who said we would never be defeated by a foreign power, but if we were defeated as a nation of just laws, it would by our fellow countrymen.
Many citizens, hardly patriots, have been compromised. Money does strange things to people.
