How can Root have been a college classmate of Obama when "I never met him, never saw him, never heard of him. And I don't know a single classmate who ever met him either." ?
At best, he was enrolled at Columbia at the same time and in the same departments as Obama was allegedly enrolled.

That’s pretty much what he is saying, that he was enrolled at a time when Obama was supposedly enrolled but never knowingly crossed paths with him nor did any of the classmates he knows from those years, at least none whom he asked about it.
As for who coined Obamagate I am pretty sure it was coined by this site years before he did, and other sites had him pegged as well. It was obvious he was bad news when Kerry pulled him out of his arse in 2004 to give the speech at the convention and people brought up how he beat Ryan in Illinois- by unethically obtaining Ryan’s supposedly confidential divorce records.

He did not say he was a college mate. He said he was in the same college in the same year that 0bama claimed to have been. Learn to read.

I was a poly sci major at FSU and I can tell you I knew most others at least by sight. Everybody has the same classes and a minority person would stick in your memory even more.

There is also more than a little evidence Obama and terrorist Bill Ayers were lovers during this time. And yes. Dreams From My Father was ghost-written by Ayers.
