'Weird as hell’: the Covid-19 patients who have symptoms for months
The Guardian US ^ | May 15, 2020 | Luke Harding

Researchers keen to work out why some people are suffering from ‘long tail’ form of the virus ... “The symptoms were weird as hell,” he says. They included loss of smell, heaviness, malaise, tight chest and racing heart. At one point Garner thought he was about to die. He tried to Google “fulminating myocarditis” but was too unwell to navigate the screen. ... There is growing evidence that the virus causes a far greater array of symptoms than was previously understood. And that its effects can be agonizingly prolonged: in Garner’s case for more than seven weeks. ...

It’s a bioweapon being tested.

Sounds like his system is trying every tool in the tool box to get rid of this monster. If this is such an odd case...lets run through his genes....see if he’s got something “special” someplace.

I just know it’s worse that the flu.

We have to reopen at some point, sooner than later.

I’ve been advocating masks because I believe there is ample evidence they work. They’re not perfect but they help.

I actually think if we had masks in stock and advocated them early enough, we wouldn’t have needed a lock down at all.

Did not read anywhere in the link that he was treated or took medication for his Wuhan Virus.

Guess he decided to ride the wave.

Don't know about the testing, but it certainly looks suspiciously like something that was engineered.

The President knows an awful lot more than he is letting on about this "virus."

Well my guess is that he didn’t get HCQ + zinc. And the ACE-2 receptors are in a lot of different organs. I’m not sure where the CD-147 receptors are, I think they are in immune system cells.

I noticed the President is wearing goggles now.

Someone should ask these folks if their wives told them: “As soon as you’re better, I have a list of things for you”...

I think he was in the UK, and now they didn’t get on the HCQ+zinc train. Would have been helpful to know if he received any treatments.

“Spector estimates that about 200,000 of them are reporting symptoms which have lasted for the duration of the study, which is six weeks.”

“Thus far the government is not collecting information on those in the community with ostensibly “mild” but often debilitating symptoms – a larger group than those in critical care.”

One article I read said that family members were accusing them of having psychological issues.

“The President knows an awful lot more than he is letting on about this “virus.””

This has been my thought since the beginning of this. Virtually every world leader has chosen to lockdown his or her nation, regardless of the economic consequences. The moon suits worn by the ‘flight attendants’ on the first evacuation flights out of China, the first mandatory quarantine in a half century, all were clues that there is something very nasty is loose.

I would like to hope that at some point we will be allowed to know the whole truth of what’s going on.

I think there are therapies that could end this or stop it from happening, deliberately being stonewalled by a narcissistic science establishment

On the other hand, even the ‘regular’ flu leaves many with aftereffects that last for months. This has happened to me, and I’m sure many others. Individuals, and their bodies’ responses to disease, are different.

I believed in the beginning that the nations wouldn’t have taken the extreme responses that they did, unless some intelligence suggested that this was a very weird disease.

Time has caused me to continue to be cautious but far less afraid.

That’s a long time. Maybe some of the symptoms were from other causes?

This is such a weird disease, I cannot believe it is naturally-occuring.

I wonder how many people do indeed have prolonged infections and if they are infectious for the duration.

It’s not worse than the flu. If you have comorbidities and you end up with pneumonia ( from whatever cause) you may likely die

Fighting infections is not a thing where you have the infection then poof you win and the infection is gone.

Over a large sample of people we would expect some odd things away from the middle of the bell curve.

It's heartwarming to know that Covid, like most things in nature, manifests various characteristics, such as in this case 'time to kick it', along continuums. This is great news! The flu sometimes lingers for months where the immune system isn't quite strong enough to kick it totally.

This is like a soccer match that wasn't settled in 90 minutes ... it's in over time. Both sides are tired and weary. EVENTUALLY there will be a shoot out, and one side will lose. But with disease, we never know how many overtimes there will be before the Ref upstairs declares a shootout.

Danny has highlighted for us some soccer matches that are in double, triple, and even quadruple overtime.

The virus is not just a natural virus. It was manipulated. There is an additional component that affects the immune system.
