At his May 12 press conference, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee laid out the plans for the statewide contact tracing initiative.
[The initiative] is robust, it is vigorous and it is comprehensive, and it needs to be all three to be successful, Inslee said.
If we do not succeed in this second stage of our efforts, this virus could come bright back and bite us.
As LynnwoodTimes.coms Luke Putvin notes, the information Inslee provided was labeled as Contact Tracing: Box in The Virus. The steps were listed as follows:
Contact tracing involves interviewing people with positive COVID-19 tests to identify who theyve been in contact with, getting those people tested and then making sure they isolate themselves and their families.
As the press conference went on, one question kept coming up what about enforcement? How will you ensure residents comply and what if they dont?
The answer is as scary as many have worried about. As Putvin reports, for those businesses/individuals that dont comply, the governor stated that he confirmed with Attorney General Bob Ferguson, there will be sanctions in civil or criminal court.
At timestamp 38:55 in the video of the press conference below, one reporter asked:
When it comes to contact tracing, how are you guys going to handle people or families who want to refuse to test or to self isolate?
If they want to leave their home to get groceries I know youve said they cant do that; how will you make sure they dont?

Test your tinfoil before trusting it. leave phone on, wrap it, then call it from another phone.
Funny you should mention the foil thing...
Last night we were on-line looking for something to stick our phones in while out and about. Found some well-reviewed items, but the best reviewed were very pricey. So we started experimenting at home to see what we were dealing with.
Signal got through a metal lunchbox and a cast iron dutch oven. Couldn’t make calls, but texts still got through. Then hubby got out the tin foil. A few wraps of that and we were good to go. No call reception and no texts could get through good ol’ Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty.
But I don’t think we’ll be seeing that used in a commercial any time soon...
ER’s will be filed with those injured trying to cut the tag out of their body. Flatten the curve!
Its not about the virus or your health. It never was. Its about power and control.
Is there any state that isnt building a contract tracing army?

This from the same failed states the can’t manage to purge the dead off their voter rolls.
The DNC/MSM has moved from screaming for ventilators, to flattening the curve, to masks, and now the latest craze de jour is contact tracing.
The reality is contact tracing only makes sense at the *start* of an outbreak (eg ebola cases entering the US). It makes zero sense months into an outbreak where millions are or have been infected. If one starts serious “contact tracing” it will rapidly devolve into millions of potential contacts. Add in the false positives and false negatives in any tests and the data quickly devolves into complete garbage.
Of course, the real reason is not their desire for whatever imagined value for contact tracing. The real game is to prolong the “crisis” until the election in the final last-ditched effort to destroy Orange Man Bad. And they will pursue this effort even if it kills *you*.
I agree with you there. Remember when Rush was fearless? He used to have a homosexual update, with mocking music, and exposed the homosexual agenda. This was in the early 90s. Homosexual groups including Act Up got in his face and he dropped the segments.
Popcorn?
Seriously?
Better get some ammunition and pick up a few extra guns...and while you're at it, what's the condition of your Bug-Out Bag?
Have you checked all your fall-back positions...serviced your Bug-Out vehicle?
And last, but not least, do you think I'm making a joke?
I'm not...there is a damned war coming and you can submit...or you can fight.
I intend to fight.
Period.
Right. This is clearly something else. This is a massive move to Stasi-style totalitarianism. We’ll all have a government handler. And they will all have the power to have us hauled away. That’s the bottom line.
monitoring MSM yesterday showed covid, covid, covid 24/7.
no mention of unmasking except for Fox, which had plenty of covid as well.
this is the narrative until November, unless indictments begin.
how did it get to being so close to the 2020 election, without any indictments for trying to stop Trump’s presidency and to oust him once he was elected?
unbelievable.
I did.
It worked.
It’s not just the DNC. Georgia was the one relative renegade on starting to open up.
And they are implementing a massive contact tracing plan as well:
I remember his update themee.
Rush has changed a lot.
I have a Sam’s Club sized box of the stuff.
:)
Refuse to take any “mandatory” test. You have no idea what is on that swab they are using on you or on any of their “test equipment”. Do you actually trust anyone from the government at this point? I’m an old man, and I really don’t much give a s##t about anything at this point other than I will not be man-handled or bullied. Just let them come and tell me I can’t go to the store or leave my house. Just don’t be the one who tries to stop me. I’m sure there are a lot of others like me out there.

About the metal lunchbox. It is possible the text messages didn’t actually arrive on the phone while the phone is in the metal box. Sent messages will show as “delivered”, but it really means delivered to the phone carrier. Messages will be saved on the carrier’s servers until the phone is actually reachable. The phone could be turned off, out of cell range, or in a lunchbox.
It becomes a bit of a “Schrödinger’s Cat” (Schrödinger’s cellphone?”) problem to determine if the messages got thru to the phone in the lunchbox. Without opening the lunchbox you can’t tell if the messages arrived or didn’t arrive on the phone.
If you could fit the cell phone *and* your husband into the lunchbox, you could then try the experiment again, but I don’t recommend this, even in the name of science. ;-)
I was kinda freaked out about the dutch oven results. I’m a recovering Luddite, and this surveillance state crap hadn’t helped.
😨
I don’t think we realize how quickly this is falling apart for our blue state overlords.
My job involves reservations and dispatching for taxis. From CA to PA, down to FL.
People are on their last nerve, trust me.
Right/left, tall/short, black/white...all of them. It’s no accident that even the hardest of hard core blue state officials are starting to ease restrictions. They realize that pushing people further is going to get very ugly.
The most dangerous person you will ever meet is someone with nothing left to lose.
ROTF!! I will say this, hubby had a great time doing the experimentation thing last night. It freaked me out, but he was in his geeky element.
