Alice in Flippin’ Wonderland. Presumption of Innocence dictates that if the prosecution isn't prosecuting, the defendant is, by default, INNOCENT. Maybe the Twilight Zone. Or Kafka.

This clearly exceeds the role of the Judge as impartial referee; the Judge is clearly partisan and has taken sides. This needs to go to the Court of Appeals for removal and for sanctions on the judge.

Barr needs to tell Sullivan, in no uncertain terms, that the DOJ does NOT work for that branch of the government and cannot be compelled by the judiciary to prosecute someone.
Sullivan is trying to step on some toes here and I hope he gets slapped...

Note: It’s not like the prosecution quit and the judge is appointing someone to respond to a motion of the defendant. The judge here is appointing someone to argue against a motion the prosecutor filed and which is not opposed by any party to the case. The judge has decided to act as both judge and prosecutor. I can tell you which side always wins when that happens.

The Courts wish to take such a dishonorable action as descending from the perch of blind justice to the pit of political mud slinging.
This brings dishonor on the entire Judicial branch of the United States.
Such disrepute as to cause them to loose their moral authority and paint a target on judges coast to coast as being nothing but foot solders for the political parties.
