I hope there can be an expedited appeal. The judge is out of control and obviously bias. He’s also making a mockery of the judicial system.
Trump doesn’t need to pardon Odumbo to make their hair burn. Just point out that Bubba already has received a pardon and could never have held any office without it. Jimmy Carter’s mass pardon of the Vietnam draft dodgers.
Flynn got effective council and withdrew his guilty plea in January. This would have forced the prosecutor to provide evidence in a trial. However the DOJ decided not to pursue the case.
It's interesting to note that Andrew McCarthy has been saying for quite some time that Flynn has a tough hill to climb to get his guilty plea withdrawn.
Dershowitz is an objective observer here. Powell may be a great lawyer but she is obviously biased since she represents a client here.

More like african justice by an african judge. Reminiscent of Winnie Mandela’s necklacing.
The “crime charged” for which he pled guilty was never a “crime”. Hence his guilty plea is void.
He pled guilty to lying to the FBI. Under the circumstances as we now know them, I.e., that there was no legitimate predicate for the interview, then the charged crime was never a legitimate crime.
It was the FBI that committed the crime.
Flynn has been totally exonerated. Whatever the judge does at this point will be void. He cannot bring in a third party to prosecute what the Justice Department has determined cannot be prosecuted.
The problem here is that it seems the DOJ hasn't provided sufficient information in its filings to reinforce the idea that the DOJ was guilty of wrongdoing in the case. If anything, I'd say there's a good chance they want to drop the case to AVOID making any admissions that should really be brought into the public domain.
Flynn may have believed he lied to the FBI and that it was a crime. The DOJ is saying that it wasn’t a crime. Flynn had no way of knowing that at the time he made the guilty plea. So he didn’t knowingly or willfully lie to the court.
Yup. It was a European law school professor who was primary drafter of NAFTA. Story goes Clinton called him about signing it.
FWIW, at the time he pled guilty, he was being represented by a law firm where Eric Holder was a partner. Based on the fact that the law firm that represented him was headed by a former head of the department that spied on him, I think that his plea should be thrown out based on the fact that his attorney had an undisclosed conflict of interest.
Regardless, any argument that he should not be freed at this point is an argument in favor of tyranny.
Flynn was railroaded. It’s time to derail that train.

Sad that a judge can’t be removed for misconduct and abuse of power. So I would reassign him to a plot in the middle of Death Valley.
Which begs the question in my mind ... WHY DIDN’T FLYNN HIRE HER BACK IN 2017?
