You seem to forget the Tenth Amendment. Actions such as are now being taken are powers not granted to the Federal government by the Constitution. Therefore the emergency powers to deal with pandemics are reserved to the states and their people. You folks in CA voted badly and wound up with Rats in charge. Those Rats have the power to determine the actions taken in CA. Trump will do nothing because he takes the Constitution seriously, and it says he lacks power in this matter. Other states that didn’t vote to put idiots in charge have begun reopening and digging out of this mess.
I do understand; I live in PA and we too voted badly, electing Commie Tommie Wolf as our governor. He’s starting to open up the state, but he’s pretty much been as dumb and as tyrannical as Newsome throughout this pandemic. Looking at his response to those opening against his orders, one can conclude he’s not changed much despite allowing a limited reopening of our economy
