"When will they open a Cold Case on the Psycho Joe Scarborough matter in Florida. Did he get away with murder? Some people think so. Why did he leave Congress so quietly and quickly? Isn't it obvious? What's happening now? A total nut job!"
- President Trump, in a tweet, May 12, 2020

The sun had not been up for an hour when the president of the United States, in his ninth tweet of the day, said MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough might be a murderer.
It's an old claim, debunked by The Washington Post in 2017. Trump often smears those who challenge him. He has a long-running feud with the "Morning Joe" husband-and-wife team of Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.
Yet it remains astounding to see the president make a thinly veiled murder accusation devoid of evidence. Many of the 18,000 false and misleading claims in our Trump database feature overheated rhetoric. Few of them rise to these vicious heights.

"Morning Joe" airs on MSNBC from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET on weekdays. The hosts have been hammering the administration's dysfunction in the face of the covid-19 pandemic, with Scarborough often taking Trump to task for "a blizzard of lies."
This morning, the hosts also zeroed in on Trump's contentious exchange with a CBS News reporter at a news conference on Monday. Brzezinski and Scarborough both called Trump's remarks "racist." They ran a segment criticizing the Justice Department's unusual move to drop the criminal case against Michael Flynn, a former Trump national security adviser who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. They interviewed Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, who said of Trump: "He can't handle women, particularly strong women, and we know that Trump is xenophobic, and it comes out time and again."

“...debunked by The Washington Post in 2017...”
Well, THAT settles it. For sure. Not a scintilla of doubt.
Whoa! He went there.
(Does Joe know there’s no statute of limitations on murder?)
Something happened to the women.and something happened to Seth Rich too.
Debunking a suspect in a murder case usually means being able to pin the murder on somebody else. You may as well say that Gary Condit’s being a suspect in the murder of Chandra Levy was debunked because of 9/11. Somebody killed both women.
Joe Scarborough identifies as an ugly woman.
Vicious this coming from these viciously corrupt @$$holes!! Really!!
When did Trump claim that?
He just mentioned a cold case file of a dead intern found in Joe’s locked office.
Mika identifies as an ugly man, so they’re perfect for each other.
He calls Trump responsible for the corona deaths when he’s not, so I guess turnabout is fair play.
Debunked? I dont know.... I have three anonymous sources who say some is fishy regarding that whole Scarborough episode.
debunked by the WaPo????
I am ashamed to have doubted Joe. The actual WaPo itself? That WaPo? Wow./s
Scarborough, Condit, & Kasich hot-footed it out of DC in record time. Their “orgy club” would’ve been discovered if not for 9/11 taking the heat off of them.
"Some people did something"--Rep. Ilhan Omar
Gary Condit got away with it, too.
Lol
Debunked - new favorite liberal word lately

Recalling the 24/7 coverage of Chandra Levy which went on for months, until 9/11 happened and then it flat out disappeared. I recall when the first building was hit there was a split screen for a few minutes on the networks with the Levy coverage, and then when the second building was hit the Levy/Condit story went away for good. Just like that. It’s truly a drive-by media as Rush often says.
