I did, and it looked like the person taped in the house later attacked the motorist.
The problem with this video is that Stefan leaves out a lot of Georgia law regarding citizen arrests and the use of force
The law doesn’t allow you to track down a dangerous criminal, that you did not witness the crime or have immediate knowledge of, block him, interrogate him, expect him to comply to your orders with two of your friends in pick up trucks, all armed and shoot him because your police action didn’t work the way you wanted. That is murder, sorry.
That isn’t the point of citizen’s arrest. That is police work, and is by law left to the police.
I’m guessing you didn’t bother to listen to the video which explains the issues in agonizing detail.
I did, and the guy was wrong about a lot of legal points.
Citizen arrests doesn’t give you or I the power or authority to arm ourselves to go chase down dangerous criminals and shoot them when our arrests go wrong.

Look, you don't point guns at people on the street. They assume you might kill them and they fight back, however foolish it might be.
Just how someone will react if you pull a gun on them is hard to say. A lot of people are hot-blooded enough to react to that kind of threat in unexpected ways.
So please. Enough with assuming that he was trying to kill them.

The author of that video could as well, but only used the pieces that proves his point. That is being dishonest.
If you want to be ignorant and want to listen to lies that fit your narrative or world view, go for it. But don’t parrot it as the truth.

Agree completely. When I obtained my CCW permit, I took the time to educate myself regarding the responsibilities and liabilities of a legally armed citizen attempting to “enforce the law”. My firearm is for personal defense. If I witness a horrific and self explanatory act of violence, I may choose to intervene, entirely at my own risk. Bottom line: the facts better be damn well self evident. Suspect a “jogger” of attempted burglary? Call the Cops and leave your weapons holstered.

With that statement you just exonerated the McMichaels.
Since you have made a legal study of the issue, you can explain why they declined to indict them at the time.
So, “If I thought somebody was waiting for me” you would “try to get the gun away and shoot them.”
But not just waiting; you go on to say deadly force would be justified if you thought someone was attempting to follow you.
Now tell us more about the faulty thinking of the McMichael’s.
I don’t see how that follows. The McMichaels pulled the gun.
