On Wednesday May 6 2020, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported that Gregory McMichael, a former law enforcement official, and his son, Travis McMichael, were arrested in connection with the February 23 shooting of Ahmaud Arbery - 74 days after the killing.

If someone was waiting for me, then the only assumption would be they intended to attack or kill me. How hard is that?
How could you have any clue about Georgia Law?
In New Jersey gun ownership is highly controlled. In Georgia we still have rights.
In Gregory McMichael's almost forty years in law enforcement with the District Attorney's office you seem to think he learned nothing about law enforcement.
He will be fully exonerated. Two different prosecutors recused themselves because of their law enforcement connections to Gregory McMichael.
Deadly force would be completely justified if you tried to restrain me and I was neither on your property illegally or I had INITIATED an attack on you. You can’t pull a gun on someone first and then claim ‘self-defense’ if you shoot them in a tussle, at least not if any sane person is on the jury.
The only legal reason I could ever pull a gun on someone is if there were trespassing or if the INSTIGATED an altercation.
“Suspect a jogger of attempted burglary? Call the Cops and leave your weapons holstered.”
Not a bad strategy, but why call the police especially if you live in New York?
It is hard to believe police in New York are still making arrests knowing the suspect will immediately be released without bail - even if the suspect has previous arrests the same day.
If you witness any crime in New York or California the best thing you can do is to snap your fingers and act like it never happened.
The problem isn’t so much the dead man, it’s the perfect fuel and ammunition it gives race hustlers and gun grabbers, all because two idiots wanted to play cop. I wouldn’t be half surprised if the decedent was not actually a burglar or other lowlife, but these wannabee cop morons have made the country and all of our lives less secure, just like that retard Zimmerman, by not simply calling the cops and letting the police do their job.
why do you guys use the MSM tactics when debating something? he didnt just raise his gun and aim and shoot!! He was attacked, he has punched in the face, he was wrestling with a thug over his firearm... and the thug is dead. end of story. and it is ONLY Societal law now that stands in the way of this guy going home. just why are so many excuses givin for the bad guys these days!!?? thats is the sole reason we have slipped into the abyss this far. Like Jim Carry said in Liar Liar... Stop Breaking the Law A$$hole!!!
Yup, I am. And well find out at their trial.
It was going to a Grand Jury, Grand Juries are on suspension in GA until June 15th
However a warrant was issued by the DA office after the DA that was handling the case recused himself because he knew McMichael personally and professionally
That is what they are saying
The warrants were issued the the gunmen are now in custody.
How could you have any clue about Georgia Law?
I don’t know, this thing called Google
Georgia does have all their laws online, they got computers too you know
In New Jersey gun ownership is highly controlled. In Georgia we still have rights.
In Gregory McMichael’s almost forty years in law enforcement with the District Attorney’s office you seem to think he learned nothing about law enforcement.
Doesn’t mean he didn’t let his emotions get ahead of his common sense and job training. Maybe for the moment, he still thought he was still on the job, but his deputy (his son) was a total moron and had zero idea what he was doing.
He will be fully exonerated. Two different prosecutors recused themselves because of their law enforcement connections to Gregory McMichael.
The prosecutors were good friends of McMichael when he worked in the department. They tried to handle it and slow walk it but they got caught by the media. I believe the Georgia police are now working the case, or overseeing it at least.
This doesn’t mean he is innocent, in fact it makes him look guilty, only guilty people need to use their connections.
The author of that video could as well, but only used the pieces that proves his point. That is being dishonest.
If you want to be ignorant and want to listen to lies that fit your narrative or world view, go for it. But dont parrot it as the truth.
Good luck.
How did you feel when the District Attorney's letter to the Chief of Police stated the exact same interpretation of Georgia Law as Stefan Molyneux presented?
You may know Law in a Leftist Blue State, but you clearly do not know Georgia Law.
But moments ago you advocated death by gunfire for anyone you thought was attempting to follow you.
Let's look at your words: “Not a good strategy (get the gun away and shoot them), but completely justified, as would ANY action if someone were to attempt to follow or restrain me.”
I hate to be persistent, but it appears to me you have gotten very emotional about this incident - perhaps because of a concern someone will call you a racist.
To avoid that, you are willing to accept without question the narrative of the lame-stream media. And to abandon due process.

The second statute says that a person may carry a gun without a permit on "his or her property or within his or her home, motor vehicle, or place of business." The shooter was not in his vehicle or on his property or in his home or place of business. Was his carrying legal?
The third statute says use of deadly force is not justified "unless the person using the force reasonably believes it is necessary to prevent the commission of a forcible felony." What felony was the shooter trying to prevent?
It also says you can use it to defend yourself. In this situation, who was defending themselves? The shooter or the victim?
You can point to the memo and the video if you wish, that doesn't make either one correct. The fact that both the shooter and his father are in jail without bail indicates that they aren't.
Barnhill recused himself recently when it was pointed out that he was friends with McMichael and McMichael worked with him in the DAs office.
Georgia doesn’t have a citizen arrest where you can hunt down the suspect while armed and kill him. Sorry, in fact the law states the opposite, Barnhill was covering for his buddy and lied. Maybe he thought he was the FBI and could get away with it
This will blow up as it should.
No, I’m rather sure the MSM are lying, too.
I’ve had run-ins with wannabe cop vigilantes who think it their business who is out and about on public property (when they didn’t realize I was visiting relatives close by). Accuse or try to restrain me and anything I do in response is justified.
Because they’re repeating the MSM narrative. Easy.
And I’m not “emotional” at all. I hate self-appointed cops and thanks to these dimwitted murderers the RKBA is going to be under even more attack everywhere.
I figured it was something like that.
It also says you can use it to defend yourself. In this situation, who was defending themselves? The shooter or the victim?
The shooter was the aggressor, since they sought out the victim for an alleged crime that isn’t even a felony in Georgia (Trespassing)
The victim had every right to defend himself, he had no choice when confronted with three angry guys with guns who blocked him with their trucks, you see that in the video.
This was a fight or flee moment, I don’t know where he could flee too since they were going to go wherever he went, so I guess he had to fight them or let them shoot him.
Defend himself from what exactly?
