I remember reading that booklet. And now Walmart and Albertsons grocery store has these cameras that watch you as you check out. They even show you your face on video screens. Reminds me of that very scene from the booklet.

Yes there is a software package that watches the scans as well as cameras watching the scan and a camera watching your face. There are cameras when someone enters and exits the store as well as all the ceiling cameras throughout the store.

A midwestern convenience store chain is testing a system where the customer places all of their items inside a scanner. The cameras identify the item, ring up the total, and the customer pays by credit card or debit card, without interacting with one of the employees. The machine is being tested in Oklahoma, according to one of their store managers.

Personally, I expect the RFID system to be demanded by retail grocery before too long. The current theft is very high in retail. Every retail employee I talk to shakes their head when I ask about theft. They have a lot of it.

As I’ve posted many times, this commercial came on TV in my area in 2007. I had already known this was coming. It’s real, it’s just not widely-implemented. Yet.

Great technology, reduces theft and (non-theft non-destroyed product) shrinkage. Keeps each store’s database more accurate.

When the Man of Sin arises, it’s just a hop, skip and a jump and then people won’t be buying groceries without the Mark. And that Chick tract is gonna be a reality.

But I hope people copy those links and share. Since we’re not there YET. Though I’m pre-trib, I still believe it’s important to warn the world as to what is coming.

That being said, the greatest work will be done by the angels in Revelation chapter 14. By far.

Revelation 14 (written down by brother John).

King James Version

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

One image references the Missed Scan Detection software. The robot (way down below) scans the shelves looking for misplaced items, low-stock items and empty shelves (obviously). I've seen it in action, once about 2 a.m. (before this all started). An incredibly-bright beam of light to illuminate a narrow shelf area as it strolled along.
