Diabetics have poor immune systems and are always at risk for infections. Diabetics and hypertensives are often treated with ACE inhibitors which increase expression of ACE2 and may make Covid infection more likely. Asthma increases lung risk. Obesity makes breathing more difficult.
Thank you for the info on ACE inhibitors. I will stop taking my small dose 10 mg Lisinopril for a few weeks until the virus goes away.I really do not need it because my BP stays below 135/85 without it and I exercise plenty. But there is so much sodium in restaurant food, and prepared foods, it is always an overload.
