So... a simple question comes to mind, why are 88% of deaths occurring in people with 2 or more comorbidities? My guess is because those people can not manufacture anti-bodies fast enough to kill the virus.
The four main comorbidities of non-survivors are diabetes 22%, hypertension 20%, coronary disease 16%, asthma 6%. Obesity is another.
Diabetics have poor immune systems and are always at risk for infections. Diabetics and hypertensives are often treated with ACE inhibitors which increase expression of ACE2 and may make Covid infection more likely. Asthma increases lung risk. Obesity makes breathing more difficult.
